[ESP-ENG] Lo que me apasiona en la actualidad // What I am passionate about today
Gracias a la iniciativa de @aliento me he puesto a reflexionar sobre lo que me apasiona en esta actual etapa de mi vida. Ha sido una sesión de auto Coaching en la cual hice un vuelo rasante sobre las diversas actividades que he realizado durante vida.
Thanks to the @aliento initiative, I have started to reflect on what I am passionate about in this current stage of my life. It was a self-coaching session in which I did a low flight over the different activities that I have carried out during my life.
Para comenzar estableceré que el concepto de pasión para mí es aquello que hace que mis energías se enfoque, que hace que mi tiempo vuele sin dejar la menor huella de cansancio y que al terminar lo que esté haciendo las endorfinas hagan estallar mis neuronas de alegría y felicidad. Con esta premisa en mente comencé hacer un rastreo de cuáles de mis actividades cotidianas causaba ese maravilloso efecto. La conclusión afloró con suma naturalidad y comprendí que lo que apasiona en la actualidad es escribir.
To begin, I will establish that the concept of passion for me is what makes my energies focus, that makes my time fly without leaving the slightest trace of fatigue and that when I finish what I am doing, the endorphins make my neurons explode with joy and happiness. With this premise in mind I began to track which of my daily activities caused this wonderful effect. The conclusion came out very naturally and I understood that what I am passionate about today is writing.
En mi vida la escritura ha estado presente en diferentes facetas, recuerdo que comencé en mis épocas de estudiante universitario escribiendo comunicados y panfletos para otros estudiantes de distintas corrientes políticas quienes eran líderes, pero no tenían la facilidad de escribir sus proclamas. Luego descubrí que me apasionaba la política y decidí escribir mis propias ideas.
In my life writing has been present in different facets, I remember that I began in my days as a university student writing communiqués and pamphlets for other students of different political currents who were leaders, but did not have the facility to write their proclamations. Then I discovered that I was passionate about politics and decided to write my own ideas.
Durante la etapa de ejercicio profesional escribí para los diarios de circulación local de mí ciudad sobre diversos temas relacionados con la economía nacional y la gerencia pública nacional. De esa época recuerdo con gran pasión un artículo publicado en el Diario el Sol sobre un tema que se debatía en el país “Los Fondos de Pensiones”, este artículo escrito con gran profundidad técnica y con mi propia visión sobre esta novedosa propuesta para manejar los fondos de las prestaciones de los trabajadores en Venezuela capto la atención de quien para ese entonces dirigía la Comisión Presidencial para la Inclusión de los fondos de Pensiones en la recién modificad Ley Orgánica del Trabajo.
During my professional practice period, I wrote for the local newspapers in my city on various topics related to the national economy and national public management. From that time I remember with great passion an article published in the Diario el Sol on a topic that was debated in the country "The Pension Funds", this article written with great technical depth and with my own vision on this novel proposal to manage the Workers' benefit funds in Venezuela caught the attention of who at that time headed the Presidential Commission for the Inclusion of Pension funds in the recently modified Organic Labor Law.
Del 2000 hasta el 2005 seguí escribiendo artículos de opinión, pero mi mayor presencia en los medios de comunicación escrita fue a través de declaraciones de prensa que en muchos casos era consignada por escrito. Luego hice un retiro de casi 10 años sin escribir.
From 2000 to 2005 I continued to write opinion articles, but my greatest presence in the written media was through press statements, which in many cases were consigned in writing. Then I made a retreat of almost 10 years without writing.
Luego de mi formación como coach profesional y largo proceso de reeducación en el maravilloso mundo del estudio de la conducta comencé a escribir sobre este nuevo mundo. Así en el 2015 comencé la publicación de una columna semanal donde de manera sencilla y de fácil entendimiento comenzaría a llevar a los lectores, a la gente del pueblo, un conocimiento que por lo general tiende a ser fastidioso por la alta carga filosófica y conceptual que implica.
After my training as a professional coach and a long process of re-education in the wonderful world of the study of behavior, I began to write about this new world. Thus, in 2015, I began the publication of a weekly column where, in a simple and easy-to-understand way, I would begin to bring to the readers, to the townspeople, a knowledge that usually tends to be annoying due to the high philosophical and conceptual load that it implies.
La crisis económica hizo que muchos periódicos desaparecieran por lo tanto tuve que dar un primer paso hacia el mundo digital. En el año 2014 me registré en el sitio web de wordpress.com y establecí mi propio blog sobre coaching y liderazgo.
The economic crisis caused many newspapers to disappear therefore I had to take a first step towards the digital world. In 2014 I registered on the wordpress.com website and established my own blog on coaching and leadership.
Mi blog expandió mis posibilidades de difundir mis pensamientos e ideas sobre temas de coaching, liderazgo y política. Gracias a mi blog he alcanzado la cifra en promedio de 6500 vistas cada año y tengo un total de 382 publicaciones además de más 5000 seguidores por vía email. El tener este blog me abrió las puertas para escribir para importantes sitos como Grandes medios un periódico digital de Madrid, ExpoCoaching Magazine sitio web de la comunidad de coaching de Madrid España y en QuestionPro un portal Mexicano especialidad en temas de gerencia empresarial.
My blog expanded my possibilities to spread my thoughts and ideas on issues of coaching, leadership and politics. Thanks to my blog, I have reached an average of 6500 views every year and I have a total of 382 publications as well as more than 5000 followers via email. Having this blog opened the doors for me to write for important sites such as Large Media, a digital newspaper in Madrid, ExpoCoaching Magazine website of the Madrid Spain coaching community and QuestionPro, a Mexican portal specializing in business management issues.
Sin embargo, la verdadera pasión y emoción ha sido el reto de escribir en la comunidad de HIVE desde el año 2020. Estar en esta comunidad todo ha sido un constante aprendizaje. Desde las normas no escritas sobre comportamiento hasta las complejas técnicas de marqueteo. Aún me causa cierto resquemor eso de estar pendiente de cetáceos.
However, the true passion and excitement has been the challenge of writing in the HIVE community since 2020. Being in this community has all been a constant learning. From unwritten rules of behavior to complex marking techniques. It still causes me some resentment that being aware of cetaceans.
Escribir en hive me ha servido para revisar mis contendidos, adaptarme a un público joven y exigente. Quienes están ávidos de conocimiento pero de manera práctica y sencilla. El tener que acompañar los escritos con la imagen acorde fue todo un desafío para mí.
Writing in hive has helped me to review my content, adapt to a young and demanding audience. Those who are eager for knowledge but in a practical and simple way. Having to accompany the writing with the appropriate image was a challenge for me.
Lo mejor de mi pasión por la escritura en hive ha sido que uno de mis hijos se ha convertido en todo un experto en escribir para esta plataforma. Sus escritos reciben maravillosos comentarios y sus votaciones reflejan el apoyo del público. Ahora es el quién cada día me dice: Papá no vas a publicar hoy.
The best thing about my passion for writing in hive has been that one of my sons has become an expert in writing for this platform. His writing receives wonderful comments and his feedback reflects public support. Now he is the one who tells me every day: Dad, you are not going to publish today.
