My First WAX NFT Drop - Free Limited Drop For Hive!

I Did It!

After almost a year of thinking, considering, and procrastinating, I finally put forth the effort to create an NFT collection on WAX. As much as I would have preferred to create my collection on Hive, it is my understanding that in order to create NFTs on Hive, you must first have a "portfolio" of art to submit. So in order to begin creating that portfolio, and also to "get my feet wet" creating NFTs so to speak, I decided to create a collection on WAX. I have been collecting NFTs on WAX for some time, and was familiar with the various platforms, so it seemed like the easiest route to take...

To create my NFTs, I took original photos that I had taken at the "Jack O' Lanterns" unleashed event I had attended recently, and manipulated them in photoshop. I cut out the Jack O' Lanterns, added "frames" around them, then backed them with various animations to create GIFS. Viola! The "Hack O' Lantern" collection was born! I have several "themes" in my collection, including Harry Potter, Hocus Pocus, Star Wars, and Disney. Overall, I am fairly impressed with my collection, but then again, I am biased...

The "Welcome Card..."

Since I own a Media Company, "ShireLane Media," I decided to open a WAX account with the name shirelane.gm to create my NFTs. I also decided that since this was the "premiere" drop from my media company, I should give some form of incentive to "early adopters," so I came up with an idea for a "Welcome Card" NFT. This card will be used to whitelist holders for "first round" drops of the collection, allowing them first dibs, and then will be used for special perks as time goes on. I plan on eventually having the collection stakeable on WAX, and who knows what else I may do with it later. It will be seasonal for the Halloween season, so I plan on updating it yearly as well.

Sine I could not create this collection on Hive, the next best thing I could do was a special drop for people that read this post.
