Success Begins by Solving a Problem

I was in the mall this evening for some shopping and right there, I observed something that got me thinking and reflecting deeper on why people succeed by identifying and solving a problem in a particular locality.

Sometimes, we don't need to go far before having our dreams fulfilled. It could be in a simple thing we overlook, not necessarily the one that requires bigger capital, but sometimes, I understand that some opportunities we miss are also due to a lack of capital.

Where I live, I know there are different bakery stores baking breads and selling them everywhere, but people are always complaining of the low quality of their bread. This made me personally always enter a vehicle to a far mall in search of a good bread for me and my family. The same thing is applicable to many others because I do see my neighbors struggling to get better bread with me at the far mall.

So recently, there has been a particular bread loved by many, and this brand opened a store within our community. Many people love this bread; it's quality and very tasty and then very affordable. Now, a lot of retailers go to their store, buy in bulk, and start selling on the street. Every street you pass now, you must see Bokku Bread.

This brand has gradually taken over the market and steered it around. Then today, I decided to visit their store and buy directly at a much cheaper price, but then it was as if I was looking for gold to buy. The population waiting to buy bread was huge. The bulk buyers are on a different queue with small buyers and, like, play, I spent more than 30 minutes waiting for my turn to buy.

Then I began to think, why didn't other bread before this brand sell? One thing I know will make a product stand out is quality; no matter how much profit we want from business, quality should be a major priority. In my community, people needed more quality bread even if it meant buying it at a higher price, and none of the brands available improved until Bokku Bread came into play and displaced other brands.

Sometimes, paying attention to details, not overlooking feedback from customers, and prioritizing quality are all we need to excel in a business. Every business has challenges, and of course everyone must not like your product, but first things first, we must do our part and the best we can.
