Rediscovering My Reason for Living - LOH #285
I remember taking a pause at a point in my life to really ask myself a deep and thoughtful question. The moment unfolded when I felt really overwhelmed about life and many challenges on my end.

If I should be sincere, I questioned my living and wished to go back to God and have my rest, maybe a kind of foolish thought those days, but that's by the way. I questioned God about many things. I compared my family with others who are close to me. I looked at how healthy their kids are and how I am running around for mine, and I said, "Why me? Why all these rough paths? Why all the rocky roads on my lane?" And then again, I felt like my strength was failing me badly. But the bitter truth I realized was that I am not living by accident; there is a reason I am living, and there is a purpose too.
I can equally say that my reason for living presently is deeply rooted in responsibility and purpose. Being a mum, I woke up daily to realize that my kids look up to me. They depend on me for many things; they also learn from me, and that alone motivates me to keep on pushing even when I am totally overwhelmed. I am living up to my responsibility for my kids, and that's enough to live, despite all odds.
However, aside from motherhood, I have come to realize that living my purpose entails becoming a better version of myself. Laying aside every distraction and pursuing my personal growth, I put my personal needs and peace first rather than constantly sacrificing for others because can one really pour from an empty cup?
Living my purpose entails that I take care of my mind, my health, my emotions, and my dreams/visions in life and not leave it to chance.
Overall what keeps me pushing ahead is the hope that my tomorrow will be better and the responsibility of my kids while I strive to ensure their better tomorrow as well. So yeah, I have many reasons for living and living intentionally as at that; raising my kids with undiluted love and wisdom, building a meaningful life, and becoming someone I am proud of, and indeed, that's enough for sure!

I pray God make the hard easy for you and your boys grow to be the best children anyone would admire. Live out your purpose, sis.

Thank you Merit 🥰
It is so natural @nkemakonam89. We all want what is best for our children. That they will learn my good habits and not the bad ones !LOL To make sure they are well equipped for a world of opportunities, discerning to it's hazards, and the wisdom to seek guidance of God's will in their lives.
