If It’s Orange, I Probably Want It! - LOH #304
I wouldn't need to think twice when someone asks for my favorite color, and yeah, it's orange 🧡, a color that feels like happiness seeing others wear it as well, not only myself. I tried checking my wardrobe after seeing this prompt and realized that almost 50 percent of my wears, including casuals, are orange colors. How did I get here? Orange feels so much alive for me 😀
Seeing orange colors catches my attention a lot, and maybe it's because of the way it announces its presence, you know...lol. It's quite irresistible. I remember purchasing an undersized orange top, not because I am not aware it wouldn't size me comfortably, but because of my inability to resist the beauty and happiness I feel with orange colors.
There is an unusual spark of happiness orange colors give me, and not only that, seeing the color around me makes me feel more energetic. 😍
Life feels too serious most times, thinking of bills to pay, different responsibilities to care for, and a lot running in my mind all the time, and that's why I believe we need something simple to always remind us to breathe better and enjoy the moments, and guess what, orange colors do the magic for me.
I know I have asked myself why I am so much in love with orange, but there wasn't any response. Even when I dress my kids in orange polos, I see myself being happy all of a sudden.
I also feel so much in love with deeper burnt orange because it makes me feel warm, mature, and cozy, so yeah, I am getting obsessed with oranges of different shades, hahaha, and I also find myself connecting so badly with people who love to dress in orange colors.
I made a friend two years ago in my church with one beautiful woman who dressed gorgeously in an orange lace dress that day. I vividly remember sending her money to buy me similar lace from her vendor 🤦. I hope I don't get to buy orange dresses on credit one day, lolz.
Orange color is never boring at all; down to my football wears, I will always choose orange 😉.
So yeah, if you ever want to buy me a gift and you are skeptical about which cloud to choose, worry no more. Just go with an orange handbag, dress, flowers, or even an orange car 😀
