Hola querida comunidad de @hivegc soy Agustín y hace unos días tuve la oportunidad de volver a jugar al FOR THE KING con unos amigos; hace un año o más hubo una temporada donde jugué varias partidas cooperativas con tres amigos. Siempre digo que los juegos de peleas por turnos no me gustan, pero este también es uno que rompe con lo común.

I always say I don't like turn-based pea games, but this is also one that breaks the ordinary.

Los pongo un poco en contexto FOR THE KING es un juego de rol por turnos estilo rogué like y cuando hablo de rol realmente respeta muy bien estas palabras, en este juego podés encarnarte en diferentes personajes, magos, barbaros, juglares y a través de exploración, misiones y eventos en el mapa podés ir consiguiendo ítems o comprándolos logrando mejores sinergias entre habilidades y personajes.

El mapa está dividido en octágonos, con unas vistas aéreas y los personajes se mueven por turnos, no es un juego fácil, en todo momento hay que estar atentos a la administración de tus recursos y muchas otras situaciones que pasan a lo largo de la partida, es más, apenas abrís FOR THE KING te salta un anuncio que dice ``Muchos han caído antes que tu´´ y les puedo asegurar que esto es verdad, en las horas que llevo de juego no gane, ni termine ninguna partida.

The map is divided into octagons, with aerial views and the characters move in turns, it is not an easy game, at all times you have to be attentive to the management of your resources and many other situations that happen throughout the game What's more, as soon as you open FOR THE KING you get an ad that says "Many have fallen before you" and I can assure you that this is true, in the hours that I have been playing I did not win or finish any game.

Mis amigos me invitaron a jugar una partida, deje todo lo que estaba haciendo para disfrutar de una tranquila a la noche, comenzamos, y me elegí al vagabundo que se encarga de atacar o dar beneficios a su equipo utilizando una viola con daño mágico (Las armas, guantes, accesorios, casco, etc. Se pueden ir equipando a lo largo de la partida) comenzamos haciendo unos enemigos sencillos del entorno para ir ganando oro y experiencia para los personajes para luego ir a la ciudad Tostaleña para reclamar unas misiones más difíciles pero que tenían buenas recompensas.

Fuimos avanzando en nuestra aventura, consiguiendo mejores ítems y oro, el problema fue que en un principio perdimos muchas vidas para revivir a los compañeros cuando son derribados, pero gracias a que teníamos una buena resistencia y sinergia entre personajes no perdimos ninguna otra batalla. Pero realmente en las primeras horas de juego estuvimos muy ajustados, no sabíamos si íbamos a poder continuar porque en todo momento estábamos al borde de perder.

We progressed in our adventure, getting better items and gold, the problem was that at first we lost many lives to revive our companions when they are knocked down, but thanks to the fact that we had good resistance and synergy between characters, we did not lose any other battle. But really in the first hours of play we were very tight, we did not know if we were going to be able to continue because at all times we were on the verge of losing.

Logre conseguir muchos ítems que generaban bonificaciones de oro, lo cual es provechoso para mejorar el equipamiento, además mientras avanza la partida los objetos se van encareciendo así que es esencial contar con un buen ingreso de oro para soportar la aventura.

La modalidad de pelea es por turnos y se puede jugar hasta con tres personas. Dependiendo de las estadísticas que tengas vas a utilizar mejor ciertos tipos de armas o hechizos además de que estos elementos cuentan con sus propias habilidades de ataque y defensa.

Posteriormente entramos en una Dungeon que consiste en varias salas de enemigos que hay que ir derrotando para avanzar, a veces dependiendo de la duración de la dungeon hay un punto donde se puede descansar para recuperar vida o coordinar con tus compañeros como continuar. Al final de la dungeon se encuentra el jefe y por último el preciado botín.

Más adelante en la partida llegamos hasta el mar, donde debíamos cruzar para llegar a otra ciudad y conseguir nuevas misiones, alquilamos un barco básico y cruzamos pero teníamos siempre presente que podía aparecer el KRAKEN que es un enemigo de altísimo nivel que puede hundir el barco y efectivamente, tras cierto tiempo navegando tuvimos la mala suerte de encontrarnos con este enemigo; la primera vez luego de tantas partidas logramos

Mas adelante en la partida llegamos hasta el mar, donde debíamos cruzar para llegar a otra ciudad y conseguir nuevas misiones, alquilamos un barco básico y cruzamos pero teníamos siempre presente que podía aparecer el KRAKEN que es un enemigo de altísimo nivel que puede hundir el barco y efectivamente, tras cierto tiempo navegando tuvimos la mala suerte de encontrarnos con este enemigo; la primera vez luego de tantas partidas logramos derrotarlo porque estábamos muy bien preparados pero no voy a mentirles, realmente fue difícil y casi hundió el barco.

Realmente recomiendo jugarlo, pero con amigos, y si tenes alguno que ya lo haya jugado muchísimo mejor para poder estar un poco mas guiado. Yo no lo compre, hace un tiempo EPIC GAMES regalo este juego, asi que si estas interesado y sos de guardar los juegos que regala EPIC todos los jueves yo iría a revisar la biblioteca.
