# New Rewards System - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 2 Report Card

This was the first season with revamped rewards. Almost since the release of the game there has been a daily quest which has been replaced by a daily focus. I've read some people saying that they thought focusing on one splinter for 24 hours is boring. Personally I found this to be very helpful for learning about the splinter. After a day of focusing on one splinter I knew my deck for that splinter and capabilities of it much better.
I found myself playing a lot more this season with the opportunity to earn more chests the more I played. I think the changes are great if you are truly playing to earn and willing to put in the time and effort. If you are more of a casual player than the old system was probably better.

I had almost exactly an equal number of wins and losses throughout the season. Talk about win one and lose one.
I spent the entire season competing in the Gold League. I chose not to advance to Diamond League in order to get more chests this season even if the quality in them is not quite as good. It will be an experiment to see if more Gold chests is better than a few less Diamond chests.

I received about a third more rewards this season compared to last in terms of dollar value.
The highlights were 2 packs, a legendary, and a couple Gold Foil Rares.
