Photochain Challenge 79 📷⛓Tree & Map
(Edited)
Greetings, Friends!
Time for another fun round of the PhotoChain Challenge!
The KEY-SUBJECTS for this week are
MAP by @elizacheng
and TREE by @gems.and.cookies
Congratulations on your wins!
All of my photographs of the maps and trees were taken in the back yard. The real challenge was to get the maps to stay propped on the trees during the photo session. Neighbors who walked by and watched what I was doing thought I'd lost my mind. Haha!
Does anyone even use paper maps anymore? With Google maps and other smartphone apps paper maps have become a thing of the past. I still use them because I like to visualize the entire distance that will be traveled all at one time. Also there can be "dead spots" where there's no cellular coverage when you travel by car. It's wise to always have a back up plan!
Folding up maps back into their original format is another thing!
If chosen, my key word is FLOWER
This is my entry to PhotoChain Challenge Edition 79 hosted by the incredible @davidesimoncini

Don't worry about that particular stalker, treat it like a gnat you hit every time you're riding your bike. Annoying, but will do you no harm.
Beautiful photos Nina, thank you to join in again :) !LUV 1

Haha! Yes!! I do use the fold-up maps. I am with you on needed the big picture! I have been dropped by the GPS in the middle of nowhere and at night and, if you can believe this, I didn't check out the way before I left.
Le sigh.
Seriously, Denise? I never made that mistake again. I had my parent in the car, it was pitch black and the GPS had told me to get off of this exit. Yeah, there was nothing there. So, long story short... I always like to get a look! :)
I am not familiar with the photochain challenge. I will need to look into it unless you care to tell me! :) I really like the leaf picture with the map gently focused. Stellar shot. Hope all is going well with you!
Happy Weekend!
