En mi país cada 29 de mayo se conmemora el día del adulto mayor o de los abuelos es un día para recordar y enaltecer a esos seres maravillosos llenos de sabiduría amor que han obtenido a través de los años los que consiente a sus nietos más que a sus hijos ellos ayudaron a construir nuestro presente merecen respeto los abuelos influyen en la educación de sus nietos en mi casa mi mamá tiene 25 nietos 19 bisnietos y 1 tataranieto.

In my country every May 29 is commemorated the day of the elderly or grandparents is a day to remember and praise those wonderful beings full of wisdom and love that have obtained through the years those who pamper their grandchildren more than their children they helped build our present deserve respect grandparents influence the education of their grandchildren in my house my mother has 25 grandchildren 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Yo no tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar a mi abuela ella murió siendo yo muy pequeña sin embargo mis hijos y sobrinos tienen la bendición de compartir con su abuela mi mamá la biblia también nos habla y nos dice "En los ancianos está la ciencia y en la larga edad la inteligencia” (Job 12:12) estás palabras describen a la abuelita de mis hijos ya hoy cuenta con 84 años está muy lúcida sus nietos les encanta visitarla y escuchar sus anécdotas no importa las veces que las repite tienen una conexión emocional.

I did not have the opportunity to enjoy my grandmother, she died when I was very young, however my children and nieces and nephews have the blessing of sharing with their grandmother my mother the bible also speaks to us and tells us "In the aged is knowledge and in the long age is understanding" (Job 12:12) these words describe my children's grandmother and today she is 84 years old she is very lucid her grandchildren love to visit her and listen to her anecdotes no matter how many times she repeats them they have an emotional connection.

La abuela es un pilar fundamental para mí familia tanto para hijos como para los nietos durante la pandemia por covid 19 para mí madre fue una etapa difícil ya que por su edad avanzada no podía recibir visitas de sus nietos a raíz de esa situación empezó a utilizar la tecnología le costó un poquito aprender de allí empezó a mandar mensajes a todos los nietos el saldo no le dura nada la abuelita aporta a todos en casa un apoyo emocional y es la confidente de muchos de mis sobrinos hace una semana mi sobrina que vive en España me decía que su abuela es su segunda mamá cada vez que tiene un problema la llama para pedir consejos la abuela en casa es un pilar fundamental.

Grandma is a fundamental pillar for my family for both children and grandchildren during the pandemic by covid 19 for my mother it was a difficult stage because of her advanced age she could not receive visits from her grandchildren as a result of this situation she began to use technology it took her a little bit to learn from there she began to send messages to all the grandchildren the balance does not last long She is the confidant of many of my nieces and nephews. A week ago my niece who lives in Spain told me that her grandmother is her second mom every time she has a problem she calls her to ask for advice, grandma at home is a fundamental pillar.

En mi casa la abuela es la que consiente a sus nietos cuando llegan les prepara comidas deliciosas el respectivo café de las tardes con pancito mientras escuchan los anécdotas llenos de experiencia y sabiduría los consiente demasiado y cuando tiene que llamarle la atención o dar un consejo lo hace con mucho amor parte de la crianza de mis hijos vino de parte de su abuela actualmente está un poco enferma y todos sus nietos e hijos están pendiente de ella está cosechando lo que sembró amor compresión atención que llena la vida de la familia.

In my house the grandmother is the one who pampers her grandchildren when they arrive, she prepares them delicious meals, the respective afternoon coffee with bread while they listen to the anecdotes full of experience and wisdom, she spoils them too much and when she has to call their attention or give advice she does it with much love, part of my children's upbringing came from their grandmother who is currently a little sick and all her grandchildren and children are looking after her, she is reaping what she sowed love, compression and attention that fills the life of the family.

Aprovechemos a esas abuelitos que están en casa que con su sabiduría e inteligencia llenan nuestra vida de amor no se cansen de escuchar sus anécdotas ellos son un pilar fundamental en la crianza de los hijos.

Let's take advantage of those grandparents at home whose wisdom and intelligence fill our lives with love, never tire of listening to their anecdotes, they are a fundamental pillar in the upbringing of our children.
