13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi

The movie 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi was released in 2016 based on true facts of the attack on the American diplomatic compound in Libya on September /11/ 2012.

On the night of September 11, a Group of armed terrorists attacked the American diplomatic compound and killed four Americans. The American ambassador and his personal bodyguard were taken hostage inside the compound and a fire was set, causing the ambassador to die from smoke inhalation. Miraculously, the ambassador’s personal bodyguard was able to contact the American intelligence agency and a six-member American special operations team was sent, consisting of two former Navy SEALs, three former Marines and one former Ranger who worked as private security for the CIA, to defend the surviving Americans.

But soon the Special Forces team realizes that the terrorists outnumber them and have weapons, but they refuse to withdraw from the fighting. Instead, they contact the Libyan government to ask for support from them, but unfortunately their requests are ignored as the attack continues on them.

Despite their small number, the security team managed to repel the attack of the militants for 13 hours, until support finally arrived. However, the attack killed Ambassador Stevens and three other Americans.

The film will also reveal the political complexities and the Libyan government's complicity with the terrorists who attacked the American diplomatic compound. In some scenes, government officials appear as they discuss how to respond to the armed attack.

In general, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi is an interesting movie because it contains beautiful combat scenes and praises the courage of the members of the Special Forces team. The movie is characterized by a very strong performance by the cast.
