That match was just painful to watch.

I'm a united fan, always have been since the days of watching Irwon, keane and other Irish greats wear that famous red jersey. Always will be until I'm gone. That's how sports works.

You take the good with the bad. And yesterday was one of the bad ones.

Liverpool are a great team, with a great manager and a top class player in Salah. There is no getting away form that fact. Unfortunately that where we are at for now.

But United just made it so damn easy ofr them. They just had no organisation, no passion, no cohesivness, no plan. They were running aorund in circles with no where to go. Where was their Keane?

The onfield leader to set the tone, rally the troops and drive foward. No one stepped up. Ronaldo is a goal scorer and a match winner but that's not his role.

what Liverpool had more than anytihng was a team spirit and a will to win. United didn't. They have all the talent in the world and great individuals but they don't have the team spirit.

Could another manager change that?

I honestly don't see one who is available that could. I like Brendan Rodgers for the spot next but he is happy where he is.

Ole has done great work to date and is punching very much above his weight. He is in a job that he has no right to be in and done well limited skills and knoledge.

he got them to second last year and had them moving forward when others couldn't.

He has done as much as he can but i don't know if he can last much longer. Things were already piling up but this looks very bad for him. Unfortunatly there is no ready made replacement as the best managers are already with the best teams.

That game hurt to watch yesterday. I was trying to get some work done but was so pissed off watching it that i couldn't concentrate. If i went onto the pitch at least i would have done something useful. The best move that was made all day was thekick Ronalo gave to the young lad. At least there was a bit of fire in it. Because everywhere else they just surrendered.

As a Pole who from time to time watches football matches of Poland I can tell you: "You know nothing!"

We have wooden players with no tactical plan ("let's just kick the ball as far away from our goal as we can"), everytime there is Cup or Euro the expectations are super high and then there is this disaster happening.

It seems we always play 3 matches: an opening match, a match of last chance and a match for honor. And then team packs up their things and go back to Poland.

If anything happened to Lewandowski we would be totally screwed. That's why he is so popular in Poland.

Next match will be better ;)

I'm from Ireland. We know all about kicking the ball long.
Our whole game plan is to hold the defense as long as possible and try to score form a corner. Hardly exciting stuff.

At least Poland have a balanced team and a world class striker. We would love a Lewandowski.

I'm not a fan of football, unless it's the highlights, but that match..... beautiful

I imagine it really hurt as a Man United fan, but I really enjoyed the little I saw

As you said, your team will do better next time.

It did hurt.
There were some great patches of football and lots of highlights but i would rather it was another team that was in it.

Been coming for some time and why I have been saying they are a mid table team. last season things went their way and only for that reason did they look ok. They need to off load players and not getting rid of one or two and then band aiding the rest. De Gea is world class and have to keep him. Greenwood needs to go along with Fred and Wanbisakka or however you spell his name lol. Pogba should never have returned so off load him before there is more issues. I don't think there are too many managers lining up for this position as this is no easy sell. The rebuild that should have happened hasn't and is still a 5 year project instead of a few years. What player will want to play here knowing Champions League football is not a certainty? Oh I forgot Maguire as he is a handicap and hope you guys keep him.

They have the players to beat anybody. What they need is a solid center back pairing and a set up that suits those players.

Need a center back, right back and a dog of a midfielder. Pogba needs to go and fred with him as well as the fringe players. I like the rest of the attackers but they are not getting the supply from midfield and the defense is too shaky to rely on it holding out other teams.

Initially I thought, I will be watching one of the best game this season,,,with United coming back to win Against Atlanta in the champions league, so I was pretty sure they will continue with that same come back performance,,one of the worst performance from United I've watched ..even their lost against Tottenham last season was even better than this.

I remember getting hammered 8-2 by United and it was rock bottom and tough to take.

We all go through it as football fans and it sucks. You're spot on about Ole though, he's out of his depth and has done as much as he can do. United would do well to get rid of him before the end of the season in my opinion.
