Q: Tell us a bit about yourself!

Hello! My name is Charlie aka Nightshift107.
I am from Bangalore, India, and it is my pleasure to be in the spotlight this week!
I was born in India but my family shifted to the U.K and I spent a pretty decent part of my childhood there before moving back. While growing up in the U.K, I was pretty lonely, so I used to draw a lot. I also taught myself to play the piano and used to sing a bit too.
As far as childhoods go, I have to say mine was pretty decent.
Anyways, now I'm 18, tryna balance my college work and my artwork, and just generally enjoying my life. I am doing a lot of different things and prefer to keep myself busy.
Apart from art, I also enjoy crypto trading, reviewing new tech, and reading and writing.

Q: What is your art background?

So, my art background is pretty cool. As I've said, I started to draw at a very young age but most people who know me don't know that I draw; you could say it's my hidden talent. I switched to drawing stuff digitally when I was about 16. That started with me picking up an iPad and a stylus at a store and immediately seeing the potential of drawing stuff on a digital media.
I use many apps to do my work, apart from the iPad, I also use "Blender" and "After Effects".
For editing my music, I mainly use Audacity. I make visualizers for my music on After Effects and Vizzy.

For me personally, I believe that my end-product should provide the maximum value to the end customer. That is why so many of my NFTs have music in them.

Inspiration to my art comes usually from many things, like day-to-day objects, emotions, people, experiences, etc. The challenge is to be able to express what is in my head into my art.
I only mint what I feel is satisfactory to me and I am always learning how to use different applications and different art styles so I can grow and be better than who I was yesterday; for me, that is my goal.

Q: How long have you been in cryptoart/ NFTs, how did you discover them and what has been your experience so far?

The concept of NFTs was something I knew that existed for a while but I got curious to learn more about it in March. The first platform that came up on my search results was NFTshowroom. I clicked the link and I was blown away to see the artwork which people were making.
NFTshowroom was the perfect place for me to start, It was easy to understand and the team was just so helpful.

My experience so far has been amazing and I have met and connected with a lot of people. The community has been fantastic to me and the team has been very helpful too. I'd like to give a special shoutout to one person who has helped me a lot in my journey, that person is bullauge.

Q: Any new art or upcoming projects you would like to tease?

Right now I am actually creating a collection of collectible NFTs on NFTshowroom known as "Meet the Odd Fellows". This collection is basically emotions disguised as odd creatures. The reason why they appear "odd" is because I feel in this day and age people are losing touch with their emotions and alienating their feelings and losing their humanity. The project has launched and is going well. I am aiming to make this the biggest collectibles project on NFTshowroom.

Also, I am in the process of creating a crypto app called "Cryptoclickerz", coming soon ;)

Q: What are your top three favorite pieces of art you have tokenized on NFT Showroom?

Take me to when we met ft- monsoon

I really enjoyed working with monsoon. and I loved the final result. Huge shout out to him, his links will be below.

Unkown World

After finishing this, I kinda scared myself ngl.
Really love how well this came out and got some amazing feedback on this NFT.

This is was the first NFT in the "Meet the Odd fellows" collection. Believe it or not, I have been planning out this collection for a while and this NFT will always hold a special place in my heart.
