As the name says, these are meant to be very powerful cards during these special battles. The developers have done a great job in putting special rules in place to ensure that these are not abused. They are “soul bound” as they cannot be transferred or sold on any market. Each has the special ability Bloodlust which provides improved stats if they defeat an opponent in battle. Also, only one Gladiator can be used in each battle.
However, there are more benefits for having these cards in your collection as incentives to participate with your fellow Guild members in battle. These cards hold Collection Power which can help new players improve their collections and their ability to rank up into higher divisions in ranked battles. While they cannot be sold or transferred, they can be burn for DEC which we all know have some good value as of late.
Great to see the new ways the team in charge of the game continues to find to engage across the community. It was great to see how they incorporated early ideas from the community in these launches which shows their interest in growing over time. While some have debated the costs of creating and growing guilds, this demonstrates some of the value generated from being part of a guild. However, I still think the best value is being part of the community and being able to engage with other players.
