FuenteVale se encontraba en medio del estrado, rodeado de periodistas, gente del Petronas Yamaha SRT, amigos y fans de todo el mundo estábamos atentos desde nuestros monitores expectantes. Como dije durante el inicio de temporada, después del descanso de verano tomaría una decisión para el siguiente año.

Decidí parar al final de temporada. Desafortunadamente, esta mitad de temporada será mi última mitad como piloto de MotoGP.

Valentino se veía tránquilo, dijo que claro que es una decisión triste y díficil: Pero tienes que entender... Creo que al final, en todos los deportes los resultados hacen la diferencia y creo que, al final, es lo correcto
observando que el deporte a cambiado y se a vuelto más atlético y los jóvenes se han vuelto más fuertes y rápidos.

Estoy un poco triste por no conseguir el décimo campeonato, especialmente por que creo que lo merecía por mi nivel y lo rápido que era...

dejando en claro que aún no hay nada decidido, pero que tiene muchas opciones. Creo que seré un piloto por todo lo que me queda de vida... Sólo que cambio de motos a coches, aunque claro que no al mismo nivel...
hay que recordar que Vale ya ha tenido diferentes incursiones en coches de rally y agregó que le gustaría correr las 24 Horas de LeMans.
Además, tiene su equipo el VR46 de Moto3, Moto2 y MotoGP, con el que desarrolla talento italiano para que lleguen al MotoGP. Así que seguramente lo veremos muy seguido en las diferentes fechas del campeonato.

Será muy difícil que haya otro Valentino Rossi en la historia...
