Entry for Shadow Hunters Contest - Round 242

A healthy looking palm tree with a beautiful shadow. This is my entry for the Shadow Hunters Contest this week.

Palm trees are hardy and they can tolerate very hot climates, or environments. This is because when it rains, the mesh of roots absorb as much water as they could and store it in their trunks. They are also, by nature, adapted to not needing a lot of water.

This series of palm trees are on, or near the Costa del Sol, where the weather has been warmer and drier than usual. Thus, a couple of them looked a bit tired.
