Designing Agatha - Illustration made in the traditional way [Es/En]

Desde hace algún tiempo he estado diseñando este personaje el cual llamé **Agatha** esto influenciado por mi escritora favorita **Agatha Christie**. Desde hace algunas semanas he estado buscando algunos de sus libros y he estado leyendo otros que me prestaron. Hablando un poco del personaje Agatha, es una niña inquisitiva, un alma rebelde capaz de embarcarse en todo tipo de aventuras para llegar a la verdad de un misterio. Cuando pensé en el diseño, no tenía los colores establecidos, lo que si estaba segura era la apariencia de la niña, cabello rebelde, atuendo audaz, mirada desafiante.

For some time now I have been designing this character which I called Agatha this influenced by my favorite writer Agatha Christie. For some weeks now I've been looking for some of her books and I've been reading some others that I borrowed. Talking a bit about the character Agatha, she is an inquisitive girl, a rebellious soul capable of embarking on all sorts of adventures to get to the truth of a mystery. When I thought about the design, I didn't have the colors set, what I was sure about was the girl's appearance, rebellious hair, bold attire, defiant look.

Los colores los consideré luego de que llegaran a mi unos resaltadores de colores pasteles súper encantadores, realmente allí es donde poco a poco fui explorando más con la apariencia del personaje. Es posible que termine haciendo más bocetos, con diversos colores y así llegar al resultado más satisfactorio para ella. Pero lo que está seguro es que su cabello será de color azul y con la apariencia de tenerlo alborotado.

The colors I considered after I got my hands on some super lovely pastel highlighters, that's really where I gradually explored more with the look of the character. I may end up doing more sketches, with different colors and thus arrive at the most satisfactory result for her. But what is for sure is that her hair will be blue and with the appearance of having it tousled.

Tenía una discusión con una amiga sobre la incorporación de la espada, ella me preguntaba el por qué la había hecho de madera, y fue una pregunta interesante, ya que cuando lo hice imaginé hacer historias para niños con este personaje, dónde en el universo de Agatha su arma más poderosa este creada de madera y dónde su mayor enemigo sea su imaginación, creo que esto último es verídico en la vida real lol.

I was having a discussion with a friend about the incorporation of the sword, she was asking me why I made it out of wood, and it was an interesting question, because when I did it I imagined making stories for children with this character, where in Agatha's universe her most powerful weapon is created out of wood and where her biggest enemy is her imagination, I think the latter is true in real life lol.

Todo esto son algunos mini proyectos, más para sacar algunas cosas de mi cabeza y movida también por ese deseo de escribir historias, en lo no soy experta, pero cada día trato de mejorar y ver el mejor camino para lograrlo. Si bien he escrito algunas mini historias, me cuesta un poco compartirlas, pero desde hace ya un tiempo he ido superando ese temor.

All these are some mini projects, more to get some things out of my head and also moved by that desire to write stories, in which I am not an expert, but every day I try to improve and see the best way to achieve it. Although I have written some mini stories, I find it a little difficult to share them, but for some time now I have been overcoming that fear.
