Over the years I have traveled to different places in Venezuela due to my profession as a Bachelor of Tourism and I have had the opportunity to visit many beautiful places, and some of those trips I have previously described in some publications on this platform, I have even made a compilation of some of them in this collection post: https://peakd.com/ccc/neoado/en-es-my-tourism-trips-mis-viajes-de-turismo, but in this post I just want to introduce you to some of my encounters with animals on those trips in direct contact with nature, it is also important to mention that all the images were taken on different trips and with different cameras and some with the phones I had in use at the time, which makes it difficult for me to present the list of devices used, but all of them are my authorship and property.

At the end of my years at the university I traveled with my classmates to a place called Caripe in the state of Monagas and there we visited, among other places, the Salto La Paila, which around it has these little crab friends walking freely, it should be noted that The water in the area is extremely cold but the crabs are around there and they don't care much about the tourists who visit the place, because for them they are a way to get food easily and quickly.

I met this friendly Coati when I visited Angel Falls for the first time in the Canaima National Park, he approached us in search of food which apparently is something he was used to like many animals in this area, we gave it some fruit, and a few moments later it disappeared into the surrounding jungle.

This parrot roams free in this area of Kamarata in the Canaima National Park and usually stops at the Malocas and different areas of the community because the residents leave something to eat for it in the places it usually visits, I approached it to take a photo and at no time it was bothered, during the days that I was in that camp I saw him several times in the morning hours and then he continued on his way.

Another one of those trips to Canaima while we finished lunch one of the residents approached us and asked if we wanted to see a baby anaconda to which most said yes, but a few more left the place for fear of the harmless animal, when I tried to grab the little constrictor, I got a good bite from it because I didn't know how to handle it, but after instructions from one of the indigenous people I was able to grab it and take this photo.

At another time while we were working in an area near the camp, an indigenous person approached us and showed us this small frog known as the arrow toad, which, even though it is so tiny and with such striking colors, is extremely toxic due to a substance that it secretes through its skin when it feels in danger, which causes paralysis when it enters the bloodstream, they call it an arrow toad because the indigenous people of certain areas use the substance they secrete at the tip of their arrows to hunt.

While we were in the state of Amazonas in a camp on the banks of the Caura River giving some tourism development workshops, a resident of the camp showed us this little baby sloth and told us that they found it at the foot of a tree and there it was at the mercy of the predators, apparently it fell from the tree and that is why they kept it in the camp and there they fed it and took care of it.

One of the nights we spent in that Amazon camp while we had dinner this and other Chigüires or Capybaras that make life in the camp, they approached us in search of food, this surprised us all because of how docile they were, but the person in charge of the camp explained to us that these are the camp pets and when they think they just come and approach people in a friendly way, they come and go as they please in that place, they are very social but they have huge teeth that are really scary when you want feed them.

And in Puerto Ordaz in La Llovizna Park, which is a park within the city where I usually go when I have the possibilities and the time available, since it is a very good place to share with the family in a calm and natural environment and while walking over there we saw this beautiful and elegant heron on the shores of that lagoon.

These monkeys are also very common in this park, they tend to get very close to people in search of food and they always go around in a group hanging around the park, on that occasion we gave it a banana which it devoured quickly.

And finally I present to you this strange worm that I found in the garden of my house and it caught my attention and due to how slow it moved I took all the patience to take a good picture of it.

I hope you like this type of material in order to continue publishing close encounters of this type in the future.
