A group of sea lions lives at the fishing port of Antofagasta (Chile), they usually go to the pedestrian way and take a nap there. At those moments the visitors and passers-by profit the opportunity to take photos. I took these photos when I was walking along this area at moon and I saw these sea mammals taking a nap, very quietly. However in occasions they could be very aggressive, as I mentioned in this post.

The photos of this post were taken with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which has an optical zoom of 10x, which allows to take closed-ups. I used this lens in many of these photos.
I also show the images in black and white. The fur of these animals looks nice in this format. The edition of the photos was done in Gimp, as usual.

It seems that they are used to the human presence. However if you get too close or touch them, they could be aggressive.
In a previous post I registered some of the moments when they are in "aggressive mode".

Ah I can understand that, after all, they are wild animals. so it is better to appreciate their beauty from a far.
