My new lens Sony E 11mm F1.8 — Mi nuevo lente Sony E 11mm F1.8 (En/Es)

I recently bought a new lens: a Sony E 11mm F1.8 (SEL11F18), its format is APS-C. As you can see its focal length of 11 mm and it has high luminosity. I have been testing during the last weeks.

In this post I show the unboxing of the lens and some images of it: mounted in the camera and also standing alone. This lens was recently launched by Sony and it is not cheap. I like that is very light (181 gr) and its image quality is excelente. In these posts

Recientemente compré un nuevo lente. Un Sony E 11mm F1.8 (SEL11F18) de formato APS-C, como pueden ver es un lente de distancia focal fija de 11mm, y de alta luminosidad. El cual he estado usando en los últimos días.

En esta publicación le muestro el “unboxing” del lente y algunas imágenes de él, tanto como suelto y montado en la cámara. Es un lente que lanzó recientemente Sony y es costoso. Pero es bastante liviano y tiene una excelente calidad de imágenes. En estos post pueden ver algunas de las que he tomado recientemente: post 1 y post 2. Planeo seguir publicando más fotografias captadas con este lente.

It is worth mentioning that its format is APS-C, so there is a cropping factor of 1.5 that adjust the focal length in a camera of a sensor of 35mm (full frame), like the Sony Alpha 7 that I use. So the equivalent focal length in full frame format is 16mm.
I also added a UV filter to protect the lens, I always use protecting filters with my lenses. I do not see that this degrades the image quality.

Vale la pena destacar que es formato APS-C, lo que tiene un formato de conversion de 1.5 cuando se usa en una cámara de sensor de 35 mm, como la Sony Alpha 7 que uso, dicho esto la distancia focal equivalente en este formato es de 16mm.
Adicionalmente pueden ver que le añadí un filtro UV, esencialmente para proteger el lente, le cuál hago usualmente. Observo que esta práctica no degrada la calidad de la imagen.
