Looking up buildings — Mirando edificios hacia arriba (En/Es) | POB photoconcest: Look up ! | (6 images)

A photographic take that I like very much is the view of skyscrapers taken from the base, using mainly wide-angle lenses. The effect obtained in this way is very interesting and appealing from the aesthetic point of view. In order to obtain it, in my occasion, we have to lower the camera as much as possible to obtain the widest angle.

Un encuadre fotográfico que me gusta mucha (y la uso con frecuencia) es captar imágenes de edificios desde la base, principalmente usando un lente gran angular. El efecto así obtenido es bien interesante, en muchas ocasiones uno baja la cámara lo máximo posible para obtener el mayor ángulo de visión.

This post photos show the “Torre Obelisco” ("Obelisk Tower") located in Antofagasta (Chile). They were taken using the camera of the Samsung Galaxy s20. The first and third photos were taken with the wide angle lens of 0.6x that gives a focal length equivalent of 13 mm in the full frame format. In the second photo was used the regular lens of 1.0x which gives a focal length equivalent to 26mm. As usual I share the photos in colour and black and white, they were edited in Gimp.

Las fotos que hoy muestro corresponden a la "Torre Obelisco" en Antofagasta, todas fueron tomadas con la cámara de un Samsung Galaxy S20. En la primera y tercera se usó el lente gran angular de 0.6x, obteniendo así una distancia focal equivalente a 13 mm en el formato de 35 mm. Mientras que la segunda se captó con el lente regular 1.0x que da una distancia focal equivalente a 26 mm. Como es de costumbre presento las fotos en color y blanco y negro. La edición la realicé en Gimp.
