Today is a TBT Thursday, for some time now this trend has become very famous or very used. TBT stands for Throwback Thursday , it is an acronym that actually translates to Throwback Thursday, or back to the past.

Usually we see in the different social networks, in whatsApp statuses or in some other platform, users who post on Thursdays, images of the past. It has become very common. The truth is that today I wanted to join that great list to remember my daughter's 2nd birthday.

Many years ago when I moved to the town where I live now, I wanted to have a cake made, the snacks for the birthday, and I got a lot of exorbitant prices, they were so high that I had no choice but to do everything myself. In this town things, no matter how small, are very expensive.

But in order to make such an elaborate cake that contrasted with what was being used at the time, I had to make the fondant. It was a journey, but I made it. I had gotten the recipe from a neighbor. it was super manageable, flexible, and tasted good.

I made a vanilla cake and a marbled cake; once it cooled I began to decorate with the fondant. I tell you that fondant was made with a white dough, and then portions were cut to paint with the different colors that were needed, and cake coloring was used.

The cake was simple, because I could not embark on this adventure without first knowing what was waiting for me.

And so I decided to start decorating my children's birthday cakes.

In addition to the cake I made some sweets such as sighs, cookies, cake pops, etc. I also made the lollipop and finally a balloon arch. I think that necessity made me learn intensively to make everything we want.

This #TBT really took me back to the past.

** UN DULCE #TBT**

Hoy es un jueves de TBT, desde hace algún tiempo esta tendencia se ha hecho muy famosa o muy usada. TBT significa Throwback Thursday , son unas siglas en inglés que realmente se traduce a jueves de regreso, o regreso al pasado.

Usualmente vemos en las diferentes redes sociales, en los estados del whatsApp o en alguna otra plataforma, usuarios que colocan loa días jueves, imágenes del pasado. Se ha vuelto muy común. lo cierto es que hoy yo quise sumarme a esa gran lista para recordar el cumpleaños numero 2 de mi hija.

Hace muchos años cuando me mude al pueblo donde resido actualmente, quise mandar a hacer una torta, los pasapalos para el cumpleaños, y me conseguí con una gran cantidad de precios exorbitantes, eran tan elevados que no me quedó otra opción que hacer todo yo. En este pueblo las cosas por pequeñas que sean son muy costosas.

Pero para poder hacer una torta tan trabajada y que contrastara con lo que se estaba usando en el momento, me tocó hacer el fondant. Fue una travesía, pero lo logré. había conseguido la receta con una vecina. quedo súper manejable, flexible, y de buen sabor.

Hice una torta de vainilla y otra marmoleada; una vez que se enfrió comencé a decorar con el fondant. les cuento que ese fondant se hacía toda una masa blanca, y luego se cortaban porciones para pintar con los diferentes colores que se necesitaban, y se usaba colorante de tortas.

La torta era sencilla, pues no podía lanzarme a esa aventura sin saber antes lo que me esperaba.

Y así decidí comenzar a decorar las tortas de cumpleaños de mis hijos.

Adicional a la torta hice algunos dulces como suspiros, galletas, ponqué etc. También hice la chupetera y y por ultimo un arco de globos. Creo que la necesidad me hizo aprender de manera intensiva a realizar todo lo que queremos.

Este #TBT me hizo realmente regresar al pasado.
