Hello Feathered Friends Lovers,

I am delighted that the second couple of storks built a nest in a very close proximity to my office. I was told by one of my mates that one of the storks visited the factory yard. I saw it once, but I was very slow. The stork has just taken off and I ended up with couple of blurry images. It seems though the bird is regilar visitor and more people spotted it and made photos with their phones. It is just a matter of time to see it again walking close. Now I am not leaving the camera and it is always with me, ready to shoot.

The nest was built on top of high concrete column next to a bridge. The photos were shot from our factory yard, soon I will go out for better view and I am suspecting the female is now having eggs and soon there will be baby storks.

Speaking of nesting, I could not miss to tell you about the Golden Oriole. Maybe you recall my posts from last summer, where I was lucky to see Oriole's hatchlings in the nest. That nest survived the winter and was standing firm on one of the higher branches, while the birds were in the South. When I heard the tender song and saw the orioles (they are four!) I thought they might be the same couple from last year and the other two, who knows, could be their children. So happy, they are back. Anyways, the nest was still on the tree, but the branches were not covered with thick foliage yet. I thought the birds will use it again and we will keep an eye on it. Alas, few days ago, we found the nest on the ground. I don't know how it happened, who or what knocked it down. Now the orioles will be having their nest on a different tree and the chances to see it are slim. The birds themselves are hard to spot either, let alone to photograph. They have striking yellow colour and yet, they blend perfectly among the green leaves. I have several images, but all with very bad quality. I could not get close enough and from far I struggle to focus.

But when it moved, I managed some better image, although it is far from what I am expecting.

More importantly, the orioles are here and I can enjoy they songs and may be I will see them more often.
