Hello friends, welcome to my blog, the movie I chose to participate this week in the community contest is "Cars", released in 2006, by Disney/Pixar, this movie directed by John Lasseter, tells the story of a race car that thought that success and fame was everything until a mistake during a race taught him that there were more important things than success. This movie is special to me because it was the first time I took my nephew to the movies, by then he was 5 years old and had never been to a movie theater. Like every kid at that time, he was excited to go see it because he had seen the advertisement for the movie and Rato McQueen was the toy he wanted to have.

Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog, la película que escogí para participar esta semana en el concurso de la comunidad es “Cars”, estrenada en 2006, por Disney/Pixar, esta cinta dirigida por John Lasseter, nos cuenta la historia de un auto de carrera que pensó que el éxito y la fama lo era todo hasta que un error durante una carrera le enseño que había cosas más importantes que el éxito. Esta película es especial para mí porque fue la primera vez que lleve a mi sobrino al cine, para ese entonces él tenía 5 años de edad y nunca había ido a una sala de cine. Como todo niño de esa época, estaba entusiasmado por ir a verla porque había visto la publicidad de la cinta y Rato McQueen, era el juguete que deseaba tener.

Because my nephew is so restless, I was worried that he wouldn't pay attention to the movie and that after a while he would get bored, but incredibly since the film started he was attentive the whole time and asking me questions about what he was watching and didn't understand. I don't have children, for me my nephews and nieces are the children I don't have and sharing with them my passion for cinema and seeing that they like it and experience the same feelings fills me with pride and love. That day was the beginning of many films that we have seen over the years and their love for cinema, a passion that we both have.

Por ser mi sobrino tan inquieto, me preocupaba que no le prestara atención a la película y que luego de un rato se aburriera, pero increíblemente desde que comenzó la cinta estuvo todo el tiempo atento y haciéndome preguntas de lo que estaba viendo y no entendía. No tengo hijos, para mí mis sobrinos son los hijos que no tengo y compartir con ellos mi pasión por el cine y ver que les gusta y experimentan los mismos sentimientos me llena de orgullo y amor. Ese día fue el inicio de muchas películas que hemos visto durante todos estos años y su amor por el cine, una pasión que ambos tenemos.

I remember that one of the scenes he liked the most was when Tow "Mate" Mater tows him out of the race and then they become friends, my nephew liked that Lightning McQueen will help rebuild what he damaged before returning to compete again. I loved this film, which I consider ideal for young children because the story is simple and straightforward, maybe that's why in its time this film had its divided reviews, but despite that it got several nominations for the Oscars. Today this film has become a saga that for years has not brought new adventures of this wonderful character and his friends.

Recuerdo que una de las escenas que más le gustaron fue cuando Tow “Mate” Mater, lo remolca al salirse de la carrera y luego se hacen amigos, mi sobrino le gusto que Rayo McQueen, ayudará a reconstruir lo que daño antes de volver a competir de nuevo. Me encantó esta cinta, que considero ideal para niños pequeños porque la historia es simple y sencilla, tal vez por eso en su tiempo esta película tuvo sus críticas divididas, pero a pesar de ello obtuvo varias nominaciones para los Oscars. Hoy en día esta cinta se ha convertido en una saga que durante años no ha traído nuevas aventuras de este personaje maravilloso y sus amigos.

The best thing is that since my nephew and I went to see this film, we continue going to the movies to see the sequels of this film, he is no longer a child, he is a young boy with whom I continue sharing the magic of the movies. One of our traditions that we have is to go to the movies every January 1st, only the pandemic put it on stand by, that tradition that we had for years. The movie theaters are no longer open on January 1, as they used to, but we still share together going to the movies watching all kinds of movies, but "Cars" will always be our special movie.

Lo mejor es que desde que mi sobrino y yo fuimos a ver esta cinta, seguimos yendo al cine para ver las secuelas de esta cinta, ya no es un niño, es un chico joven con el cual sigo compartiendo esa magia del cine. Una de nuestras tradiciones que tenemos es ir cada 1 de enero al cine, solo la pandemia puso es stand by, esa tradición que por años teníamos. Ya los cines no abren el 1 de enero, como antes, pero seguimos compartiendo juntos yendo al cine viendo todo tipo de películas, pero “Cars”, siempre será nuestra cinta especial.
