Greetings to all needle artists and supporters!
Welcome to NeedleWorkMonday Community’s
185th Featured Posts!

This is a weekly curation showcasing the needlework of our very own HIVEians.

Every Monday we get together to share our love and passion for the needle arts, posting from the NeedleWorkMonday Community and using the #needleworkmonday tag. On all other days we use the #needlework tag. We enjoy each other’s creations, ideas, patterns, tips and shortcuts.

Here are our featured posts this week all about the process:

About the learning process, or what should my Hive blog be all about?

This post entails what we have been encouraging the NeedleWorkMonday Community to do for some time now. It’s not always just about the finished project but the process, the journey to which you embarked on is a part of the art. @Kesityu.fashion takes us along with her as she shares her ideas and strategies she had for this dress and much more.

Unravelling

by @andrastia

In this poetic needlework post the mood is set as @andrastia prepares to mend a sleeve on a cherished jersey that was gifted to her. From taking her first deep breath we are walked through stitch by stitch as she focuses on the one directly on her hook. Carefully, calmly she gets the job done.

Finished the first step of crochet black jacket

by @tali72

@Tali72 finished the parts of her vest jacket and now all is left is sewing the pieces together. She was very excited to find out it fit her just right when trying it on. When we get the stitch count right that’s a victory in itself.

In this publication we are shown the steps in making a doll’s legs. I love how we can see @tex73110’s pattern notes throughout the post. We’ll wait to see the next steps for this doll pattern.

Watch out for the human traffickers at hivefest. You wont know it until its too late. STAY AWAY! Beware, traffickers can be women or men! They will act nice until they dont. There is human trafficking going on around this type of crypto. I have witnessed it. They literally have attempted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. I bet we can get to the sources of V2K and RNM then. https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism ..... https://ecency.com/gangstalking/@acousticpulses/electronic-terrorism-and-gaslighting--if-you-downvote-this-post-you-are-part-of-the-problem if you run into one of them you may want to immediately shoot them in the face. 187, annihilate, asphyxiate, assassinate, behead, bleed, bludgeon, boil, bomb, bone, burn, bury, butcher, cap, casket, choke, chop, club, crucify, crush, curb, decapitate, decimate, deflesh, demolish, destroy, devein, disembowel, dismember, drown, electrocute, eliminate, end, euthanize, eviscerate, execute, explode, exterminate, extinguish, finish, fry, grind, guillotine, gut, hack, hang, hit, ice, implode, incinerate, kill, liquidate, lynch, massacre, maul, microwave, mutilate, neutralize, obliterate, off, pop, poison, punnish, quarter, ruin, shank, shock, shoot, shred, skin, slay, slaughter, smoke, smother, snipe, snuff, squish, stab, strangle, stone, suffocate, suicide, SWAT, swing, terminate, torture, terrorize, whack, waste, wreck. SUch wonderful post this week! I was amazed at the neat repair from @andrastia I think I have never seen something repaired that it is invisible afterwards. And also @kesityu.fashion post resonated so much with me (because as you all know I have some unfinished things hidden in my box of shame). It is so helpful to see how other crafters tackle difficult projects and that sometimes its ok to not persist <3
Thank you for this selection <3

Thank you so much @neumannsalva I was very happy with how it turned out, I think it's a lesson that I really should repair things sooner rather than later though. Lol I think we all have a "box of shame" full of unfinished projects, it's a common thread between us all 😉

I agree about how invisible the fix was, it looks amazing!

I thought @kesityu.fashion's post was so inspiring and needed to be shared. You're right, we all have things we haven't tackled again because of the difficulty and it's okay if we haven't found a solution quite yet.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the selection. 😉

Thank you @neumannsalva !!:) I must say I really enjoy that about your post too, that you share your box of shame with us, and how you face or leave them. It did inspire me indeed to face some of those left-behind projects myself!!:) And thanks @needleworkmonday for the words, the mentioning and the whole selection!! It was very uplifting to see and read:) And I can only share your compliments for @andrastias jumper-fix!!
