Teaching Children to Do Schoolwork Is My Obligation
Hello all my beloved Hive Fathers, Mothers and Sons, how have you been these past few weeks?

Today I helped Alya do her homework from school, because for the past one week she was unable to take lessons as usual because I tested positive for Covid-19 or Omicron.
This also had an impact on my child's school activities, although I was the only one who was positive and had to self-isolate at home.
Alya also couldn't go to school and the teacher advised me to accept school assignments online until I recovered and was declared negative.
Actually at that time my husband could take Alya to school as usual, but unfortunately the teacher at school did not allow it.
During the week of not going to school, it turned out that many assignments were given, it made it a little difficult for me because I was in recovery. But I still try to teach and accompany him to learn because it is my duty.
If you ask why didn't my husband teach him? The answer is that we have two children and in fact we still share parenting duties.
Today is Alya's last day of completing her schoolwork and since I've recovered so tomorrow I have to go to school as usual and collect the assignments given. Alya did the last 20 questions.
I started to supervise her first, if Alya found it difficult to do the problem then I would help her. He was a child who easily understood if given an explanation so it didn't bother me too much.
I am not a parent who always forces children to study hard every day, because I think at his age, he should also have time to play with his friends.
After a few minutes of working on all the questions finally solved. I only helped him with a few questions when he was having a hard time.
During the Covid case in Indonesia soar again, school hours have been reduced again, but there are also schools whose schools are closed and have to do online learning activities again.
I don't know how long this case will be finished, I am very concerned to see children who cannot enter school comfortably and quietly. I can only hope that my child can go to school and study well. I think that is the hope of all parents, Father and Mother.
