What Does Being a Responsible Woman Mean to Me in Today's World? LOH Contest #294
Hello everyone,
What Does Being a Responsible Woman Mean to Me in Today's World?
Being a responsible woman in today's world means much more than simply taking care of household chores. To me, it means standing strong beside my family through every season of life, fulfilling my responsibilities with dedication, and never giving up when challenges arise.
For many years, I have been fighting life's battles with determination. As a wife and mother of two sons, I have always considered my family my greatest responsibility.
From their childhood, I have tried my best to raise my sons into honest, responsible, and respectful human beings. At the same time, I have fulfilled my duties as a wife, supporting my husband through both good and difficult times.
However, life does not always remain the same. There were times when my husband's income decreased, and there were moments when he even lost his job. During those difficult periods,
I never sat back and waited for things to improve on their own. Instead, I always looked for ways to help bridge the financial gap and support my family.
When we lived in the city, my husband owned a garment screen-printing business.
Besides taking care of my household responsibilities, I also worked as a director in his company. I was responsible for the quality department, and even after others completed their inspections, I personally... ked many garments to ensure the best quality. Although it was a demanding role, I felt a great sense of satisfaction knowing
that I was contributing to our family's success. Later, when difficult times arrived, I continued searching for new opportunities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I started a homemade food business online. It was a challenging time for many families, but I was proud to stand beside my husband and contribute financially to our household. now i am working for my village farming like this...

After returning to my village, I once again looked for ways to support my family. Around our home, there is plenty of open land, especially during the dry season. I began thinking about how I could use those resources wisely. With that goal in mind, I started a small farm with only three goats. Later, I added ducks and chickens.

At first, the journey was far from easy. I knew almost nothing about raising poultry. In fact, I had never imagined that one day I would be caring for ducks and chickens. Many of them became sick, and I often lost them because I did not know how to treat common diseases. Despite watching countless YouTube videos and trying my best to learn, I made many mistakes.

But I refused to give up.
Little by little, I gained experience. I learned from every failure, every loss, and every challenge. Today, by the grace of Allah, I can successfully raise goats, ducks, and chickens. I now have many Chinese ducks and a healthy flock of chickens. Every day they provide fresh eggs, enough to mee... family's needs, and I can even sell the surplus.

Through this small farming project, I am playing an active role in supporting my family's finances. It may not be a huge business, but it proves that a responsible woman does not stop when obstacles appear. She adapts, learns, works hard, and finds new ways to help her family thrive.
For me, being a responsible woman means embracing every responsibility with courage, whether it is caring for my children, supporting my husband, managing a business, or learning completely new skills to overcome financial challenges. It means being resilient, resourceful, and committed to the well-being of my family.
Most importantly, it means never giving up, no matter how difficult life becomes.

I think a business raising live chicken and duck provide a valuable family resource and income when times get hard. I am not allowed to have one on my property as declared by my City Hall due to the complaints by neighbors in an suburban setting.
