Hello fellows photography lovers, I am pleased to join this week's Qurator's Photo Quest about the color yellow. I want to make my participation with the photographs of a girl who was on her 20th birthday where the color yellow had special relevance.

Hola amigos amantes de la fotografía, me complace unirme al Qurator's Photo Quest de esta semana, acerca del color amarillo. Quiero hacer mi participación con las fotografías de una chica que se encontraba en su cumpleaños número 20 en donde el color amarillo tuvo especial relevancia.

This girl was very excited about her 20th birthday, it is an age when we leave our adolescence, and move on to our adult life, possibly the best and most enjoyable age because we are young adults with great expectations and dreams for the future.

Esta chica estaba muy emocionada por su cumpleaños número 20, es una edad en la que abandonamos nuestra adolescencia, y pasamos a nuestra vida adulta, posiblemente es la mejor y más disfrutable edad pues somos adultos jóvenes con grandes expectativas y sueños para el futuro.

When I talked to her I perceived her as a very cheerful and enthusiastic girl so I suggested to make quite colorful pictures that matched her personality, and I asked her to choose her favorite color, and this was yellow. We looked for a stage with this color present in a Club in my city called Club la Castellana, and the balloons in golden numbers were bought together with 2 normal yellow balloons.

Cuando hablé con ella la percibí como una chica muy alegre y entusiasta por lo que sugerí hacer fotos bastante coloridas que fuesen con su personalidad, y le pedí elegir su color favorito, y este era el amarillo. Buscamos un escenario con este color presente en un Club de mi ciudad llamado Club la Castellana, y se compraron los globos en números dorados junto a 2 globos normales amarillos.

We took pictures in different environments and with different clothes, including the big yellow wall, which were the ones I liked the most for the contrast of background color with her clothes and the joy it reflects, because yellow is a color that denotes joy, among other things such as intelligence and wealth, something that this happy girl certainly does not lack.

Hicimos fotografías en distintos entornos y con distinta vestimenta, entre ellas la gran pared amarilla, que fueron las que más me gustaron por el contraste de color de fondo con su vestimenta y la alegría que refleja, pues el amarillo es un color que denota alegría, entre otras cosas como, inteligencia y riqueza, algo que sin duda no le falta a esta feliz chica.
