How to Search for Curation Trails

It is good to be back, after a long stressful yet exciting weekend in the Volta Region attending the annual general meeting for the Ghana Optometric Association together with the African Council of Optometry members could indeed be nothing but educative as well as fun.

Anyway, since i came back i have been trying to recuperate from the exhaustion of the long journey as well as get things right so we could continue our lessons. So today we would be doing much however since we have already looked at fanbase, i think the next thing should be curation trails.

So zooming in straight to hive.vote platform, we notice that at the dashboard page on the left side, there are menu or headings such as home, dashboard, fanbase etc, and among these is the curation trail. And so since that's our focus today we are going to click on that to get the menu below. Note that even from the dashboard below your name there is the curation trail option which you can also click to get the same interphase as we have now.

The next thing we are going to do is to scroll down till we see the search box. In this space we can put in the name of a curation trail we know or may have heard off or followed through other users and may want to join in. Do not worry, we are going to learn about how curation trail actually works and what we sign up for or set ourselves or our account to do when we follow the trail.

In this example to search for hiveghana trail, And so i search hiveghana and i get this feedback because there's no such trail yet, however it gives me the option to create the trail with that name if i so desire that's assuming the account name is already mine, and you can also follow it anyway, perhaps you have foreknowledge of it being about created, maybe by community leaders.

If you have not idea what curation to follow, as you scroll down you can find popular curation trails below with details on the number of followers following the trail as well as the description of the trail, what it does. You can follow any of them if you so desire however be sure to check your settings well to ensure you do not end up draining all your manna.

To do this, you can click on the settings button beside the trail you are following, thus, after following it though and then from there you can set the voting scale or weight with your account as well as how long the account should wait to vote when the trail votes a post. Feel free to explore at this point. And then you can save and you are good to go.
