Prices of medical supplies for cesarean section, unavoidable stress. [Esp-Eng]
For many reasons my delivery could be complicated, so my doctor sent me the list of medical supplies that I must get for a cesarean section, obviously getting these supplies is not easy, not here in Venezuela, day by day the prices that I have been finding out increase, which makes it difficult to gather, so far all these supplies give a total of $ 140 that due to all medical tests and other things, I do not have complete and day by day something that makes me decomplete them more is presented.
Por muchos motivos mi parto podría complicarse, por lo que mi doctora me envió la lista de insumos médicos que debo conseguir para una cesárea, obviamente conseguir estos insumos no es nada fácil, no aquí en Venezuela, día a día los precios que he ido averiguando aumentan, lo que dificulta reunir, hasta ahora todos estos insumos dan u total de 140 $ que debido a todos los exámenes médicos y otras cosas, no tengo completos y día a día se presenta algo que me hace descompletarlos más.
Having a little one is a beautiful blessing, but the process is not only physically complicated, but also economically much more so in times of covid, I asked the price of the laparotomy kit, and the cheapest price I found was $22, for that I am raising the money, hive has helped me a lot in that sense, as I have managed to buy some things thanks to the profits generated, however I have had to get money also outside the platform and as many mothers will know, this is incredibly difficult when you are pregnant.
Definitely, the stress generated by the economy is one of the most common, currently in Venezuela I have seen many cases of close friends and acquaintances that due to this stress have begun to suffer from anxiety and depression, and it makes all the sense in the world, daily we live stressed by the lack of many things, personally I strive to focus on the positive and pray constantly to achieve it, because I need to be the best possible for my baby to be well.
Tener un pequeño es una hermosa bendición, pero el proceso no solo es físicamente complicado, sino que también lo es económicamente mucho más en tiempos de covid, pregunté el precio del kit de laparotomía, y el precio más económico que encontré fue de 22 $, para eso estoy reuniendo el dinero, hive me ha ayudado muchísimo en ese sentido, pues he logrado comprar algunas cosas gracias a las ganancias generadas, sin embargo he tenido que conseguir dinero también fuera de la plataforma y como muchas madres sabrán, esto es increíblemente difícil cuando estás embarazada.
Definitivamente, el estrés generado por la economía es uno de los más comunes, actualmente en Venezuela he visto muchos casos de amigos cercanos y conocidos que debido a este estrés han comenzado a sufrir de ansiedad y depresión, y tiene todo el sentido del mundo, diariamente vivimos estresados por la falta de muchas cosas, personalmente yo me esfuerzo por centrarme en lo positivo y oro constátente para lograrlo, pues necesito estar lo mejor posible para que mi bebé esté bien.
However, there is no denying that sometimes it is inevitable to stress about not being able to pay for something you urgently need, especially if what is at stake is your child's life, and yours. I guess all moms, go through moments like these, and the best we can do is to keep fighting for our children and working to take good care of them. I try to think about the beautiful experience I am living, and not think so much about the complications, this in order not to panic haha.

Sin embargo, no hay que negar que en ocasiones es inevitable estresarnos por no poder pagar algo que necesitas con urgencia, sobre todo si lo que está en juego es la vida de tu hijo, y la tuya. Supongo que todas las mamas, pasan por momentos como estos, y lo mejor que podemos hacer es seguir luchando por nuestros niños y trabajando para cuidar bien de ellos. Trato de pensar en la experiencia bonita que estoy viviendo, y no pensar tanto en las complicaciones, esto con el fin de no entrar en pánico jaja.
