Hoy hice una cosa que ya debo dejar de hacer, y es aprenderme una canción el mismo día para grabarla el mismo día. Tuve muchas pruebas fallidas y estuve bastante rato intentado una y otra vez, pero bueno, la victoria es lo placentero.

Estuve recordado la canciones que escuchaba del cuarteto de nos hace unos años, tiene piezas muy buenas, pero son un verdadero reto cantarlas, ya que, en su melodía, manejan algunos intervalos un poco largos además de las frases rapeadas y muy cerca una de las otras, hay que ponerle bastante energía a la interpretación a la hora de llevar a cabo una canción de esta banda; y eso a pesar de que esta es una canción un poco melancólica y conmovedora.

Creo que la canción está dedicada para alguna de las hijas de los músicos de Él cuarteto de nos, sin embargo, no sé si estos músicos tienen hijos, me imagino que sí, aunque también seria válido dedicarle está canción a un hijo o hija que desees tener en el futuro.

La letra habla de un discurso de motivación hacia una pequeña hija, la cual va creciendo y el consejo se torna de distintos tonos de acuerdo a las etapas en la que ella esté. La letra empieza hablando de cómo el padre le dice a su hija que sea fuerte y siga adelante cuando empieza a caminar, que sepa defenderse y que no se aflija por las adversidades sociales, las cuales están llenas de opiniones y malas asociaciones. Es como una forma de decirle a su hija que sea fuerte e independiente cuando le toque afrontar los retos de la vida sola, cuando el ni este para apoyarla.
