Greetings and hugs! dear brothers and sisters of #hiveopenmic, for me it is sacred and transcendental to be able to share with you another week.
Currently I've been feeling a bit physically ill, with flu-like ailments that come and go; but that doesn't stop me from continuing to sing!
For this week, with the theme of "mirrors on earth" I have decided to bring the first song I wrote, which is called "feel".

Saludos y abrazos! queridos hermanos y hermanas de #hiveopenmic, para mi es sagrado y trascendental el poder compartir con ustedes otra semana.
Actualmente me he sentido un poco mal físicamente, con malestares gripales que van y vienen; pero eso no me impide seguir cantando!
Para esta semana, con la temática de "espejos en la tierra" he decidido traer la primera canción que escribí, la cual trae por nombre "sentir" (feel).

When I was fourteen years old, my mother and I were given the opportunity to attend an intake of "Ayahuasca" which is an ancestral medicine indigenous to the people of Putumayo (if I'm not mistaken). I remember that in that night, beyond the colors and the mandalas that I could see, I remember that I managed to get a very strong connection with the earth and with nature; every breath of wind and every sound of the leaves were for me a resurrection that led me to love myself and my natural environment.

Cuando yo tenia catorce años, a mi madre y a mi se nos dio la oportunidad de asistir a una toma de "Ayahuasca" la cual es una medicina ancestral indígena de los pueblos del Putumayo (si no me equivoco). Recuerdo que en esa noche, mas allá de los colores y las mandalas que podía ver, recuerdo que logre obtener una conexión muy fuerte con la tierra y con la naturaleza; cada soplo de viento y cada sonido de las hojas eran para mi una resurrección que me llevaba al amor hacia mi y mi entorno natural.

I feel that there are mirrors on the earth when we learn to identify our reflection in the earth. What represents the earth is the mother, we were born from her and we will continue to feed from her, we are part of the origin that gives us the soil and we depend fully on its fruits; in essence we are all the same, but in the concrete we are one with the earth.

Siento que hay espejos en la tierra cuando aprendemos a identificar nuestro reflejo en la misma. Lo que representa a la tierra es la madre, nacimos de ella y nos seguiremos alimentando de ella, somos parte del origen que nos proporciona el suelo y dependemos plenamente de sus frutos; en esencia todos somos lo mismo, pero en lo concreto somos uno con la tierra.

We spend our time trying to find outside what we have not learned to value inside. I always see science programs with scientists who frantically want to find life outside this planet when we are devastating the paradise we have as a world. I do not say that it is wrong to want to find life outside, but I do not support the fact that society miseducates the human being, reducing him to a parasite consumer of planets that will wait for his world to be devastated to move to another, I think it is better to learn to preserve what we already have instead of devaluing it for the fun of wanting to see what is outside. It is just a matter of seeing all things as part of us and part of a whole, a reflection of ourselves that we must learn to take care of.

Nos la pasamos queriendo encontrar afuera lo que no hemos aprendido a valorar adentro. Siempre veo programas de ciencia con científicos que quieren encontrar de forma frenética vida fuera de este planeta cuando estamos devastando el paraíso que tenemos como mundo. Yo no digo que este mal querer encontrar vida afuera, pero tampoco apoyo el echo de que la sociedad mal eduque al ser humano, reduciéndolo a un parásito consumidor de planetas que esperara a que su mundo quede devastado para mudarse a otro, pienso que es mejor aprender a preservar lo que ya tenemos en vez de devaluarlo por la diversión de querer ver que hay afuera. Solo se trata de ver a todas las cosas como parte de nosotros y parte de un todo, un reflejo de nosotros mismos que debemos aprender a cuidar.

The song I bring you today talks a little bit about that. It basically touches on the idea of finding wholeness within your own being and, by finding that same wholeness, achieving harmony with ourselves and our surroundings at a given moment.

La canción que hoy les traigo habla un poco sobre ese tema. Básicamente toca la idea de encontrar la plenitud dentro de tu propio ser y, al encontrar esa misma plenitud, lograr armonía con nosotros y nuestro entorno en un momento determinado.

I have decided to play this song on my new instrument: The cuatro, for me it is a very comfortable instrument that can project the sound with more volume than the guitar (because the cuatro is higher pitched it sounds louder than the guitar which has a deeper sound).

Esta canción la he decidido interpretar en mi nuevo instrumento: El cuatro, para mi es un instrumento muy cómodo que puede proyectar el sonido con mas volumen que la guitarra (debido a que le cuatro es mas agudo suena mas alto que la guitarra la cual tiene un sonido mas grave).

It is also a more comfortable and effective instrument for faster and more varied rhythms.

También es un instrumento mas cómodo y efectivo a la hora de realizar ritmos mas rápidos y variados.
