El pasado viernes termino la tercera temporada de la serie original de Amazon Prime Video, basada en un comic en dónde relatan la historia de un grupo de humanos los cuales quieren hacer justicia contra los llamados "superhéroes", hablo de la exitosa serie "The Boys"; cada vez que leo la sinopsis principal de esta serie me parece que es una de las mejores ideas creadas y que llevarla al formato de una serie fue aún mejor y más para esta época en dónde siendo sincero estamos cada vez más rodeados de muchas producciones tanto cinematográficas cómo televisivas las cuales justamente se basan en estas aventuras héroes de comics y pienso que justamente al ver algo diferente de lo muchos consumen cada mes, es lo que hace que esta serie cada vez más aumente su popularidad aunque hay que decir que no es lo único relevante porque "The Boys" en 3.ª parte alcance un nivel superior y eso la convierte en una de las mejores series del año.

Last Friday ended the third season of the original series of Amazon Prime Video, based on a comic book where they tell the story of a group of humans who want to do justice against the so-called "superheroes", I'm talking about the successful series "The Boys"; every time I read the main synopsis of this series it seems to me that it is one of the best ideas created and that taking it to the format of a series was even better and more for this time where being honest we are increasingly surrounded by many productions both film and television which are based on these adventures comic book heroes and I think that just to see something different from what many consume every month, is what makes this series increasingly increase its popularity although it must be said that it is not the only relevant thing because "The Boys" in 3. The Boys" in 3rd part reaches a higher level and that makes it one of the best series of the year.

En la segunda temporada no hubo duda que uno de sus temas principal era el de un rescate, pero en los ocho episodios que la conformaron hubo diferentes temas que se volvieron muy importantes en esta tercera temporada; uno de esos temas fue el de la relación entre los padres y sus hijos. A primer momento pensaba que en esta temporada se enfocaría por situaciones generacionales; en diferentes escenas con diálogos de dos de sus protagonistas me hizo sentir que hubo referencias a este debate sobre que está bien o que está mal con respecto al punto de vista en diferentes épocas y por eso cada vez más hay que cuidarse de que hacer o decir en la actualidad, pero justamente desde ese momento la historia de esta temporada decidió rebuscar más atrás en todo lo que le sucedió a estos personajes, diferentes tipos de traumas que forjaron quienes son en la actualidad; esto me pareció genial porque de forma inmediata pude hacer conexión con lo sucedido en la temporada anterior, más que nada reflejado en el personaje de "Butcher" y su padre así como la responsabilidad que ganó al final de esa temporada, una que viendo como se desarrolló está 3.ª temporada no estaba preparado para enfrentar.

In the second season there was no doubt that one of its main themes was that of a rescue, but in the eight episodes that made it up there were different themes that became very important in this third season; one of those themes was the relationship between parents and their children. At first I thought that this season would focus on generational situations; in different scenes with dialogues of two of its protagonists made me feel that there were references to this debate about what is right or wrong with respect to the point of view in different times and therefore more and more we must be careful of what to do or say today, but just from that moment the story of this season decided to look further back in everything that happened to these characters, different types of traumas that forged who they are today; I thought this was great because I could immediately make a connection with what happened in the previous season, mostly reflected in the character of "Butcher" and his father as well as the responsibility he gained at the end of that season, one that seeing how this 3rd season developed, I was not prepared to face. La primera temporada de The Boys fue una gran presentación de cada uno de estos personajes junto a los motivos del porqué hacen lo que deben hacer en una guerra dispar entre simples humanos contra personas superpoderosas y esta llena de comedia, peligro, inteligencia y hasta terror; la segunda nos muestra que no existe un miedo y que justamente este grupo de locos harán lo posible para llevar hasta el final sus batallas, aunque lo primordial en esta parte de la guerra que ellos tiene será que no exista más heridos o por lo menos salvar a quien ellos puedan. De todo lo sucedido en dos temporadas, era justo que la tercera existiera un verdadero quiebre en todos sus personajes y es que una guerra puede hacer que una persona demuestre su peor versión y pienso que eso ha sucedido en esta tercera parte de la serie porque cada uno tiene la presión de obtener una victoria y no como la que se obtuvo en la segunda temporada, se necesita algo definitivo porque cada vez más se está rompiendo el muro de contención que mantiene cuerda a cada uno de estos personajes en especial a "Butcher" y a "Homelander"; esto es lo que más me ha fascinado de esta temporada y es que cada vez más se está cerca de ver un completo quiebre que seguramente cambiará todo, pero debo decir que me gusta de que todavía no suceda y que solamente podemos ver los factores que influirán en ese futuro quiebre, tal como sucedió en la segunda temporada.

The first season of The Boys was a great presentation of each of these characters along with the reasons why they do what they must do in a disparate war between simple humans against superpowered people and is full of comedy, danger, intelligence and even terror; the second shows us that there is no fear and that just this group of crazy people will do everything possible to bring their battles to the end, although the main thing in this part of the war that they have will be that there is no more wounded or at least save who they can. From everything that happened in two seasons, it was fair that in the third season there was a real break in all the characters and a war can make a person show his worst version and I think that has happened in this third part of the series because everyone has the pressure to get a victory and not like the one obtained in the second season, something definitive is needed because more and more is breaking the retaining wall that keeps each of these characters sane, especially "Butcher" and "Homelander"; this is what has fascinated me the most about this season and is that we are getting closer and closer to see a complete break that will surely change everything, but I must say that I like that it is not happening yet and that we can only see the factors that will influence that future break, as it happened in the second season.

A pesar de que estos temas fuertes sobre problemas entre padres e hijos y ser sobrevivientes a traumas que lamentablemente crean una marca de por vida; los guionistas se ingenian para crear momentos cómicos, unos que considero momentos simples, pero hay otros que me hacen preguntar ¿Cómo es posible que me esté riendo con esto? Y no es algo negativo, sino que la comedia en esta serie no hace pensar que tan locos podemos estar para buscar lo gracioso a situaciones que deberían hacernos ver a otro lado; aparte de la comedia, creo que la actuación de cada uno de los actores que dan vida a estos grandes personajes es algo único, todos son maravillosos, todos tiene traumas diferentes, cada quien debe conseguir como enfrentarlos aunque no es un desunido grupo, todo lo contrario, el apoyo de la mayoría de ellos es lo necesario para crear escenas reflexivas en dónde se discuten varios temas, uso de drogas, violencia, abuso infantil, trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo y otras cosas más, pero también son partidarios de crear escenas sumamente cómicas como por ejemplo las que ocurren en el episodio llamado "Herorgasm" el cual es una completa locura.

Despite these strong themes about problems between parents and children and being survivors of traumas that unfortunately create a mark for life; the screenwriters manage to create comic moments, some that I consider simple moments, but there are others that make me wonder how is it possible that I'm laughing with this? And it's not something negative, it's just that the comedy in this series doesn't make us think how crazy we can be to look for the funny in situations that should make us look elsewhere; apart from the comedy, I think the acting of each one of the actors that give life to these great characters is something unique, they are all wonderful, they all have different traumas, each one has to find a way to face them, although it is not a disunited group, on the contrary, the support of most of them is what is necessary to create reflective scenes where they discuss various issues, drug use, violence, child abuse, obsessive-compulsive disorder and other things, but they are also in favor of creating extremely funny scenes such as those that occur in the episode called "Herorgasm" which is a complete madness.

La sincera definición que tengo de esta serie es que para mí es un gran golpe en la cara y cada temporada el golpe se hace cada vez más fuerte; está debe ser una de las historias mejor escrita y desarrollada en la actualidad porque no solo toma (por supuesto) influencia en los comics sino en lo que sucede en la actualidad tanto de Norteamérica cómo en el mundo; el crear situaciones que llenan las noticias y redes sociales diariamente, hacer referencias serias y a la vez reírse de algunas de estas situaciones son algo que siempre me pareció excelente, pero lo mejor es que no es una burla tonta, como dije es algo inteligente porque crea una sátira que a la vez es una denuncia a sucesos lamentables que de alguna forma ahora son parte de la historia americana. The Boys en su tercera temporada ha creado algo muy bueno, es algo más que la repetitiva guerra entre este grupo de marginados y los "Sups", es la necesidad de explorar la vida de cada uno de estos personajes y de alguna manera volverlos reales para que el público tenga una empatía hacia ellos y así crear una mejor conexión y si no me creen que no existe empatía hacia estos personajes, créanme que muchas, pero muchas personas pueden sentir una gran conexión con Homelander que con Butcher; en lo personal no siento empatía por estos dos personajes, pero soy de las personas que quiere ver el momento cuando verdaderamente exista un quiebre y que no puedan recuperar el control, creo que cuando llegue ese momento esta serie hará historia al crear algo nunca visto y en eso está mi expectativa y no tanto por cómo vaya a terminar; pienso que eso es lo que hace esta historia que desarrolle una historia de situaciones erradas, terroríficas y crea comedia y drama hace que tenga una buena base de fans y es que es una serie que no te hace decidir a quién apoyar solo debes experimentar una historia donde justamente y tal como he dicho solo debes disfrutar de cada momento. Si no han visto esta serie porque están cansados de todo lo que sucede con Marvel y DC Comics, entonces solo me queda decirles que nada de esto se parece a lo ya hecho y que es otra vía, una violenta, pero divertida de poder disfrutar proyectos basados en comics.

The sincere definition I have of this series is that for me it is a big punch in the face and each season the punch gets stronger and stronger; this must be one of the best written and developed stories today because it not only takes (of course) influence in comics but in what is happening nowadays both in North America and in the world; creating situations that fill the news and social networks daily, making serious references and at the same time laughing at some of these situations is something that always seemed excellent to me, but the best thing is that it is not a silly mockery, as I said it is something intelligent because it creates a satire that at the same time is a denunciation of unfortunate events that somehow are now part of American history. The Boys in its third season has created something very good, it is something more than the repetitive war between this group of outcasts and the "Sups", it is the need to explore the life of each of these characters and somehow make them real so that the public has an empathy towards them and thus create a better connection and if you do not believe me that there is no empathy towards these characters, believe me that many, but many people can feel a great connection with Homelander than with Butcher; personally I don't feel empathy for these two characters, but I am one of the people who want to see the moment when there is a real break and they can't regain control, I think that when that moment comes this series will make history by creating something never seen before and that is my expectation and not so much for how it will end; I think that's what makes this story that develops a story of wrong situations, terrifying and creates comedy and drama makes it have a good fan base and is that it is a series that does not make you decide who to support you should only experience a story where just and as I said you just have to enjoy every moment. If you haven't seen this series because you are tired of everything that happens with Marvel and DC Comics, then I can only tell you that this is nothing like what has already been done and that it is another way, a violent, but fun way to enjoy projects based on comics.
