Decididas las cuatro selecciones que se enfrentarán por las semifinales de la Eurocopa Femenina 2022

Después de cuatro días en dónde ocho selecciones se enfrentaron en partidos de mucha igualdad y gran desgaste, ya están definidos las cuatro selecciones que disputarán las semifinales de la Eurocopa Femenina; selecciones como Inglaterra, Alemania, Suecia y Francia/Países Bajos, se enfrentaran para poder disputar la gran final en Wembley en el próximo domingo 31 de julio.

Ninguno de los encuentros disputados en cuartos de final recibieron la definición de ser fáciles porque todos los equipos tenían las virtudes para estar en una nueva fase eliminatoria y por eso cada uno de los cuatro encuentros estuvieron llenos de mucha emoción; partidos como Inglaterra vs. España y Bélgica vs. Suecia, demostraron gran nivel de igualdad en dónde cada equipo demostró sus virtudes y que solo ciertos factores fueron lo suficiente para que dos de estas selecciones estén la primera semifinal a disputarse el próximo día martes. La selección de Inglaterra que se impuso a España por un marcador de 2 a 1, tuvo que demostrar su mejor nivel para seguir portando el cartel de clara favorita para ganar este torneo; este sin ninguna duda fue el encuentro más difícil que tuvo que lidiar este equipo el cual por 80 minutos se vio superado por el excelente juego de España, pero la gran variedad de juego en el banco que tiene la selección inglesa, fue suficiente para hacerse fuerte en los 30 minutos del tiempo extra y poder ganar un gran partido; sin ninguna duda este fue el partido con mejor juego de lo que va de torneo. En otro encuentro de cuartos de final, se enfrentaron las selecciones de Bélgica y Suecia; las segundas eran claras favoritas aunque para ser sincero, si Suecia se hubiera enfrentado a otro rival, como por ejemplo Francia, tal vez no hubiera pasado a otra fase y esto lo digo porque formó parte del grupo más nivelado en todo el torneo y pequeños detalles la convirtieron en líder de grupo beneficiándose al enfrentar a una selección con menor calidad que ellas; a pesar de una gran diferencia entre las selecciones de Suecia y Bélgica, como dije en un principio cada selección tiene virtudes que usarán para tener la oportunidad de seguir adelante y la selección belga lo hizo, jugaron defensivamente, aguantaron todo el ataque de su rival, pero no fue suficiente, ya que en el decimotercero córner a favor de Suecia, se convertiría el gol definitivo que les daría el pase a semifinal; hay un dato impresionante en dónde Suecia realizó hasta 33 chutes y tan solo 9 fueron de peligro, pero es impresionante todo lo que aguanto el equipo de Bélgica esperando tener una sola oportunidad para seguir adelante del torneo. In another quarterfinal match, Belgium and Sweden faced each other; the latter were clear favorites although to be honest, if Sweden had faced another rival, such as France, they might not have advanced to another stage and I say this because they were part of the most even group in the whole tournament and small details made them group leaders, benefiting from facing a team with less quality than them; despite the big difference between Sweden and Belgium, as I said in the beginning, each team has virtues that they will use to have the opportunity to move forward and the Belgian team did it, they played defensively, they held all the attack of their rival, but it was not enough, because in the thirteenth corner in favor of Sweden, the definitive goal that would give them the pass to the semifinals would be converted; There is an impressive statistic where Sweden took up to 33 shots and only 9 were dangerous, but it is impressive how much the Belgian team endured waiting to have a single opportunity to move forward in the tournament. England and Sweden are teams where their players are physically gifted, have very good quality and are very offensive and I think we will probably have a good game in the first semifinal.

Alemania debe ser una de las selecciones con mejor balance en todo el torneo; a pesar de que Inglaterra pienso que juega muy bien, debo decir que la selección de Alemania es una de las mejores que práctica el fútbol porque es un equipo muy inteligente, sabe defender muy bien y para muestra está en que esta selección no ha recibido ningún gol, otra gran característica es que saben cuándo atacar y cuando esperar, eso hace que puedan descansar en el mismo juego con la tenencia del balón y defendiendo y presionando a su rival en cierta zona del campo, preferiblemente alejada de su portería y en dónde se les hará fácil crear un ataque al recuperar cerca de la portería rival; justamente esto fue lo que hicieron contra Austria y por eso están el partido de la segunda semifinal en dónde enfrentaran a la selección de Francia, otra gran selección que también presenta un gran balance entre la experiencia de jugadoras consagradas y otras jóvenes que han interrumpido en el mundo del fútbol ganado importantes títulos; pienso que el único inconveniente de la selección francesa es las lesiones que han sufrido en el transcurso de la primera fase y en eso pienso que fue un factor que hizo que su encuentro contra Países Bajos fuera nivelado aunque tal como sucede con la selección alemana, el primer tiempo fue de total dominio francés y en el segundo se bajó los niveles tal vez por desgaste físico, pero en el tiempo extra tuvo lo suficiente para pasar a la siguiente ronda. Alemania y Francia tiene todo para ser un duro encuentro, muy rápido y con gran exigencia física y tal vez el haber disputado estos 30 minutos extra sea un problema para las francesas, pero Alemania a pesar de disparar 90 minutos contra Austria, también tuvo desgaste, es por eso que este puede ser un encuentro largo, con mucha lucha.
