La temporada para el seguidor de este club comenzaba con expectativas como deben comenzar en todos los equipos aunque para ser sincero no tenía ninguna porque el equipo no cambio para nada, estaba el plus de que al tener jugadores que fueron parte de la obtención del título en la Eurocopa pasada, pensaba que como anteriormente había ocurrido, la Juventus tendría pensado reforzar al club con algún que otro jugador de la Azzurra u otra selección, pero al final solamente la sesión de Locatelli y la llegada de Moise Kane para suplantar a nada más y nada menos que Cristiano Ronaldo, estos dos fichajes más el regreso de Maximiliano Allego fue lo que llegaron al club para enfrentar estos seis primeros meses de torneo y como era esperado el equipo seguiría presentando las mismas fallas que tenía cuando estaban bajo el mando de Andrea Pirlo; creo que aquí ya estaba un gran problema porque si un experimentado técnico que ya tuvo un paso muy bueno en la Juve no puede levantar a los actuales jugadores, entonces se esperaba malos resultados al comienzo de la actual temporada y así lamentablemente así fue; hasta 5 jornadas tuvo que esperar este equipo para obtener su primera victoria en la serie A, antes de la quinta jornada en 12 de los puntos disputados solo obtuvieron dos puntos y eso los hizo estar en la parte muy baja de la tabla. Estos malos resultados en el inicio la máxima competición local hizo que este equipo se esforzara el doble de lo que tenía pensado y gracias a victorias contra clubes que luchan por estar tanto en Champions como Europa League fue pidieron alcanzar y asegurar esa cuarto y último puesto, siendo este un logro agridulce para los aficionados que siempre esperan lo mejor de este equipo.

Sé que existen otros factores aparte de los pocos fichajes y los fallos del cuerpo técnico, estoy completamente seguro que la directiva tuvo gran culpa por cómo terminó está temporada y es que al no ayudar a mejorarla lo que hicieron fue disminuir la calidad de la plantilla a no renovarla con jugadores necesarios para este club, a parte de esto está los problemas con la renovación de jugadores próximos a terminar contrato, por ejemplo Dybala y Bernardeschi, ambos jugadores se mantuvo con una expectativa sobre si renovarían o no y al quedar eliminados de la UCL, es que se le da la noticia de no renovarlos y estoy seguro de que esto afectó mucho, por ejemplo el delantero argentino que ahora deberá ir a otro club, luchar por un puesto que pueda darle posibilidad de ser tomado en cuenta para una convocatoria de su selección para el próximo mundial. No tengo ninguna duda de que esto ha sido un completo desastre, por parte de directiva, cuerpo técnico, cuerpo médico y jugadores; todos son los culpables de lo que sucede en este club desde hace dos años hasta este momento porque terminar esta temporada sin títulos deberá crear una reacción, una verdadera y no fichajes para ocultar todo lo malo que se ha hecho y es que al recuperar a jugadores lesionados, como Chiesa que ha sido nombrado como el nuevo portador de la 10 y con necesarios fichajes, encontrar un verdadero líder dentro del campo y fuera, porque si fichajes de jugadores es algo necesario, creo que ahora más que nunca debe llegar un nuevo DT, alguien que pueda dar nuevas ideas al club, dejar atrás el pasado y por fin dar un paso adelante al fútbol actual para que este equipo tenga un futuro y domine nuevamente la Serie A.
