"The Man Who Destroyed the World"

El séptimo episodio recibió el nombre de "Metanoia"; esta palabra tiene varios significados, pero al final se enfoca en una sola definición, la cual se puede simplificar como un cambio, por ejemplo, un cambio de dirección o trayecto, un cambio de mentalidad, un cambio de creencias, de psique y justamente en este episodio muchos de los personajes deben experimentar cambios para cumplir un propósito de sus vidas. Personajes como Bernard, Maeve y Williambot han cambiado sus mentalidades con respecto a sus motivos y han aceptado su destino en lo que respecta su participación en esta historia y pienso que es eso lo que activa la posibilidad del paso que ha visto Bernad en el Sublime para la salvación de dos especies y el mundo.

The seventh episode received the name "Metanoia"; this word has several meanings, but in the end it focuses on a single definition, which can be simplified as a change, for example, a change of direction or path, a change of mentality, a change of beliefs, of psyche and precisely in this episode many of the characters must undergo changes to fulfill a purpose of their lives. Characters like Bernard, Maeve and Williambot have changed their mindsets with respect to their motives and have accepted their destiny with respect to their participation in this story and I think that is what triggers the possibility of the passage that Bernad has seen in the Sublime for the salvation of two species and the world.

A pesar de que este episodio es otro paso más para saber si lo que ha estado haciendo Bernard hace que se esté activando variables positivas para que el mundo se salve, creo que hay un gran confirmación y esa es que primero se debe destruir todo lo anteriormente hecho para que algo nuevo surja y que exista la esperanza de que pueda ser mejor que lo anterior; todo eso confirma que está historia siempre tendrá presente lo importante de la evolución y que siempre habrá pruebas en dónde no solo el fuerte prevalece sino el que en realidad esté dispuesto a vivir y crecer, que no es solamente prevalecer y dominar usando la fuerza sino convivir y seguramente este sea un mensaje conciliador de los creadores de esta serie en dónde todo el mundo quiere un lugar mejor aunque si leo opiniones sobre lo sucedido en este séptimo episodio, muchas personas alabaron lo hecho con el regreso del "Men in Black" y es este el personaje dónde quiero enfocarme en esta publicación sobre este episodio. Cuando fue el estreno de "Zhuangzi", 5.º episodio de esta temporada, inmediatamente pensé que todo lo que estaba experimentando Williambot lo llevaría al conflicto en contra de su creadora y es que la naturaleza y la diferencia entre él y por ejemplo, Dolores, hace que su transitar por "El Laberinto" sea algo en dónde el autodescubrimiento tenga resultados diferentes y es que está temporada es relevante la importancia de los humanos en la creación de los Host, es un tema sumamente importante porque en varios pasajes de la temporada existe el recordatorio de que los Host representan fielmente la imagen de sus creadores y por eso hereden muchas cosas, positivas y negativas y a pesar de considerarse mejores (que lo son) se hace difícil renunciar a la imagen que se les dio; eso hace que Williambot deba buscar aprobación de su versión original, un hombre que sufre de pensamientos narcisistas, psicópatas, alguien que no debería nunca ser el consejero para el crecimiento de nadie, pero que pudo ocultar su verdadero ser al mundo real y solamente lo demostró en un mundo en dónde era dueño y amo, es por eso que en un último deseo deja de herencia al mundo real su versión mejorada, inmortal, libre, sin restricciones para terminar con todo porque los humanos en su definición no viene a transcender, sino a destruir.

Although this episode is another step to know if what Bernard has been doing is activating positive variables for the world to be saved, I think there is a great confirmation and that is that first everything previously done must be destroyed for something new to emerge and that there is hope that it can be better than the previous one; all this confirms that this story will always keep in mind the importance of evolution and that there will always be tests where not only the strong prevail but the one who is really willing to live and grow, that is not only to prevail and dominate using force but to coexist and surely this is a conciliatory message from the creators of this series where everyone wants a better place although if I read opinions about what happened in this seventh episode, many people praised what was done with the return of "Men in Black" and this is the character where I want to focus in this publication on this episode. When it was the premiere of "Zhuangzi", 5th. When the premiere of "Zhuangzi", 5th episode of this season, I immediately thought that everything Williambot was experiencing would lead him to the conflict against his creator and the nature and the difference between him and, for example, Dolores, makes his journey through "The Labyrinth" something where self-discovery has different results and this season is relevant the importance of humans in the creation of the Host, It is an extremely important topic because in several passages of the season there is the reminder that the Host faithfully represent the image of their creators and that is why they inherit many things, positive and negative, and despite considering themselves better (which they are) it is difficult to renounce the image that was given to them; That makes Williambot must seek approval from his original version, a man who suffers from narcissistic, psychopathic thoughts, someone who should never be the counselor for the growth of anyone, but who could hide his true self to the real world and only showed it in a world where he was owner and master, that is why in a last wish he bequeaths to the real world his improved version, immortal, free, without restrictions to end it all because humans in his definition does not come to transcend, but to destroy.

Siendo sincero, el personaje de William en sus dos versiones no deja de ser una gran representación de personajes nefastos y destructivos en la historia del mundo; yo personalmente lo veo como un cobarde que siempre saca ventaja desde una posición muy privilegiada y para mí es el personaje más débil en esta historia, eso es lo que muy bien representa la actuación de Ed Harris y que ahora puede alabar tal como lo hice con la realizada por Anthony Hopkins; pienso que en esta temporada su personaje en otra fase ha demostrado que es uno de los grandes villanos en una serie de TV y que a falta de un episodio que cierre está temporada, tal vez deba hacer algo más para posiblemente recibir un castigo el cual parece que es conocido por lo visto en la escena post-crédito de la segunda temporada y es que como dije al principio de la publicación, el verdadero juego del laberinto, el que debió jugar Dolores, Bernard y Maeve; el MIB no puede jugarlo de la misma manera y por eso debe seguir buscando o reconciliando sus diferentes versiones tal como ocurrió en la tercera temporada hasta que él decida quien en realidad es.

To be honest, the character of William in its two versions is still a great representation of nefarious and destructive characters in the history of the world; I personally see him as a coward who always takes advantage from a very privileged position and for me he is the weakest character in this story, that is what very well represents the performance of Ed Harris and that now can praise as I did with the one made by Anthony Hopkins; I think that in this season his character in another phase has shown that he is one of the great villains in a TV series and that with one episode left to close this season, maybe he should do something more to possibly receive a punishment which seems to be known by what was seen in the post-credits scene of the second season and is that as I said at the beginning of the publication, the real game of the maze, the one that Dolores, Bernard and Maeve should have played; the MIB can't play it in the same way and that's why he must keep searching or reconciling his different versions as it happened in the third season until he decides who he really is.

No tenía dudas de que en este episodio ocurriría cosas que serían sumamente relevantes y que a la vez siguen creando incógnitas las cuales no sé si tendrán respuesta en el final de temporada; una de las revelaciones y tal como remarca el nombre del episodio es como Bernard y Maeve aceptan su destino, ambos saben (especialmente Bernard) que para que se active una nueva probabilidad de salvar al mundo, él deba morir y que seguramente Maeve también lo haga para que se convierta en un arma prometida por Bernard a Frankie o tal vez su propósito era que en una simple conversación con Hale antes y después de su batalla pueda hacer que esta versión de Dolores pueda cuestionar su realidad y justamente cambiar su camino y ayudar no solo a su especie a sobrevivir sino a todo el mundo. Los anteriores episodios pude encontrar referencias a otras producciones, historias de ciencia-ficción, pero en esta oportunidad se enfoca tanto en dar comienzo al fin de esta cuarta parte que me pareció genial y hasta perfecto; este camino o misión para tratar de salvar al mundo me gusta porque no es perfecto y solo es un paso más en ese pasaje que ha visto Bernard y esperemos ver parte de ese final justamente en el último episodio de esta temporada, algo que de esperanzas o no, aunque sé que Christina en este camino para descubrir quien en realidad es parece que será lo que definitivamente pueda salvar al mundo y que solo se deba definir que versión de Dolores despierta o si lo necesario es que justamente sea Christina quien escriba el futuro para ambas especies dentro de un mismo mundo; esto es más que nada mis expectativas para lo que esperemos sea el cierre este capítulo en esta historia en espera que haya otro más.

I had no doubt that in this episode things would happen that would be extremely relevant and that at the same time continue to create unknowns which I don't know if they will be answered in the end of the season; One of the revelations and as the name of the episode remarks is how Bernard and Maeve accept their destiny, both know (especially Bernard) that in order to activate a new probability of saving the world, he must die and that surely Maeve will also die to become a weapon promised by Bernard to Frankie or maybe his purpose was that in a simple conversation with Hale before and after his battle he can make this version of Dolores to question her reality and precisely change her path and help not only her species to survive but the whole world. The previous episodes I could find references to other productions, science fiction stories, but this time it focuses so much on starting the end of this fourth part that I thought it was great and even perfect; I like this path or mission to try to save the world because it is not perfect and it is only one more step in this passage that Bernard has seen and let's hope to see part of that end precisely in the last episode of this season, something that gives hope or not, although I know that Christina in this path to discover who she really is seems to be what can definitely save the world and that it is only necessary to define what version of Dolores awakens or if it is necessary that Christina is precisely who writes the future for both species within the same world; this is more than anything my expectations for what we hope will be the closing of this chapter in this story in the hope that there will be another one.
