Hola a todos en esta bonita comunidad, espero se encuentren muy bien y estén pasando estás fiestas decembrinas con salud y en unión familiar que es lo más importante. Hoy me uno a la iniciativa de la comunidad @family-friends para hablarles acerca de cómo han sido mis navidades y que es lo que más me gusta de esta celebración donde todo se llena de colores y alegría. Antes de comenzar me gustaría invitar a unirse a esta iniciativa a @ungranulises y @artsyjose66 ♥️🎄

¿Cómo acostumbran a celebrar la navidad y que tradiciones particulares posee tu familia en mes?

Mi familia sobre todo mi mamá siempre le ha encantado la navidad por qué le gusta decorar la casa y hacer que se sienta el ambiente navideño. Comenzamos limpiando bien la casa para después empezar a montar el árbol de navidad que tiene muchos años con nosotros pero se mantiene bien, yo la ayudo a colocar las luces, ella se encarga de poner el lazo y todos ayudamos colocando bolas brillantes, estrellas de copos de nieve, unos muñecos de santa y de muñeco de nieve que tenemos varios y son muy bonitos, también tenemos flores doradas y de otros colores. Debajo del árbol colocabamos una alfombra especial para el árbol de navidad pero ya no lo hacemos porque nuestra gata tiende a querer jugar con ella 😂, aunque nos sorprende que aún no haya tumbado el árbol ya que a los gatos les llama mucho la atención las luces y las cosas brillantes.
Por otro lado en Venezuela es muy común poner el nacimiento y nosotros tenemos uno que mi mamá compro y es muy especial para ella. Si tenemos la posibilidad comemos hallacas, pan de jamón, asado y ensalada de pollo, la ensalada es mi parte favorita 😍

¿Cómo fueron las navidades de tu infancia?

Recuerdo las navidades de mi infancia con mucha nostalgia y emoción porque teníamos la presencia de mi abuela materna, ella se alegraba mucho en estás fechas y nos llenaba de felicidad tener su compañía, aunque ya no está con nosotros se que desde el cielo siempre nos está acompañando y cuidando como siempre lo hizo. Mi parte favorita de la navidad era comer torta negra, me encantaba mucho y mi mamá siempre la hacía junto con quesillo. También me emocionaba la idea de los regalos, en esos tiempos recibía muchos regalos y recuerdo sentirme muy afortunada y feliz junto a mi familia. Algunas veces desearía volver a revivir esos momentos y apreciarlos más.

¿Extrañas algo de las navidades pasadas?

Si, estar con personas que ya no están en mi vida. Extraño mucho sobre todo las de mi niñez porque tenía esa inocencia de niña y no habían tantas preocupaciones solo ser feliz y disfrutar, aún lo hago pero en Venezuela las cosas han cambiado y algunas veces se vuelve difícil poder celebrar como uno quisiera, pero estoy agradecida por los momentos que me regaló mi abuela, mi mamá y mis hermanos dónde nos divertíamos y hablábamos de todo y nada, era simplemente disfrutar y compartir en familia.

¿Con quien esperas compartir las fiestas decembrinas y quien más desearías que estuviese en las celebraciones?

Me gustaría celebrarlo siempre con mis personas más queridas y las que siempre han estado ahí para mí en los momentos difíciles, mi mamá y mis hermanos. También me gustaría que mi abuela estuviera ella estaría feliz de ver qué ahora estamos viviendo en nuestra casa propia, lo que tanto ella anhelaba para nosotros.

¿Qué deseas para esta navidad y para las navidades futuras?

Lo que más deseo para esta navidad es que mi familia tenga salud y paz, porque eso es algo con lo cual no se puede vivir. Deseo que pasemos las próximas navidades juntos y que siempre nos tengamos unos a otros ahí cuando lo necesitemos sin importar lo que pase. Pido que el mundo sea más empático, que seamos amables con las demás personas, que no hayan tantos conflictos y que reine la paz, ese es mi deseo.

¿Qué es lo que mas te gusta de las navidades?

La comida😂, la unión que representa la celebración, las decoraciones y la gratitud que me invade por haber logrado vivir un ano más y poder estar presente en el próximo si Dios lo permite. El contar los últimos cinco minutos antes de las doce, me emociona y me da nostalgia a la misma vez.

Today I join the initiative of the @family-friends community to tell you about how my Christmas has been and what I like the most about this celebration where everything is filled with colors and joy. How do you usually celebrate Christmas and what particular traditions does your family have for the month?

My family, especially my mom, has always loved Christmas because she likes to decorate the house and make it feel like Christmas. We start by cleaning the house well and then we start to put up the Christmas tree that has been with us for many years but is well maintained, I help her to put up the lights, she is in charge of putting the ribbon and we all help by placing shiny balls, snowflakes stars, some santa and snowman dolls that we have several and they are very nice, we also have golden flowers and other colors. Under the tree we used to place a special carpet for the Christmas tree but we don't do it anymore because our cat tends to want to play with it 😂, although we are surprised that she hasn't knocked down the tree yet since cats are very attracted to lights and shiny things.
On the other hand in Venezuela it is very common to put up the nativity scene and we have one that my mom bought and it is very special for her. If we have the possibility we eat hallacas, ham bread, asado and chicken salad, the salad is my favorite part 😍.

What was your childhood Christmas like?

I remember the Christmas of my childhood with much nostalgia and excitement because we had the presence of my maternal grandmother, she was very happy in these dates and we were filled with happiness to have her company, although she is no longer with us I know that from heaven she is always accompanying us and taking care of us as she always did. My favorite part of Christmas was eating black cake, I loved it very much and my mom always made it with quesillo. I was also excited about the idea of presents, in those times I received many gifts and I remember feeling very lucky and happy with my family. Sometimes I wish I could relive those moments again and cherish them more.

Do you miss anything from Christmas past?

Yes, being with people who are no longer in my life. I still do but in Venezuela things have changed and sometimes it becomes difficult to celebrate as one would like, but I am grateful for the moments that my grandmother, my mom and my brothers and sisters gave me where we had fun and talked about everything and nothing, it was just enjoying and sharing with family.

Who do you look forward to sharing the holidays with and who else do you wish would be at the celebrations?

I would always like to celebrate with my dearest people and those who have always been there for me in difficult times, my mom and my siblings. I would also like my grandmother to be there, she would be happy to see that we are now living in our own home, what she so much wanted for us.

What do you wish for this Christmas and for future Christmases?

What I wish most for this Christmas is for my family to have health and peace, because that is something you can't live without. I wish that we spend the next Christmas together and that we always have each other there when we need it no matter what. I wish for the world to be more empathetic, for us to be kind to each other, for there to be less conflict and for peace to reign, that is my wish.

What is your favorite thing about Christmas?

The food😂, the union that the celebration represents, the decorations and the gratitude that invades me for having managed to live one more year and being able to be present in the next one if God allows it. Counting the last five minutes before twelve o'clock makes me excited and nostalgic at the same time.
