Me as a Supreme Court Judge.

I was a chief justice. And before that, I was a district court judge, handled major felonies, including capital murder cases; and I handled major civil litigation.

I've come to the #WeekendExperiences community to partake in the #weekend-engagement initiative.

I am Judge Myles Ola-benson.(Just for today).

I choose to be a Supreme Court judge in this weekend post challenge. I find the profession very critical and oppressive. The power that judges have on us as citizens or people is very massive yet not talked about frequently.

A judges decision can affect people's live either positively or negatively. I believe in second chances because it is evident that there is no man without sin. A chief judge in a Supreme is responsible for leadership and control in the federal judicial system. The Supreme Court is the highest court of law in a country that serves both the federal and state issues, and has jurisdictions.

Many of our laws today regarding civil rights, human rights, politics, war, women and children, education, poverty and many more has come from decisions made inside the Supreme Court,

Being part of the Supreme Court Judges will make me help people from the very source and highest place of law and decision making.
Also, I have interest in knowing what's its like to sit on a bench (court throne), sitting above every other person in that room, and knowing fully well that you have the last say because I am most respected and that decision is final. That feeling is a God like feeling.

This are law makers, they persecute the law breakers, only judges with compassion and wisdom will transcend right justice to everyone in front of him and the jurisdiction he represents.

I will briefly describe my self as a judge 😊 as if I was one.

My name is Myles Ola-benson, I am the Chief Justice of my country Nigeria or CJN. I am the head of the judicial arm of the government of Nigeria, I sustain and guard over my country's Supreme Court and National Judicial Council. I also act as a president on few occasions. I was appointed on the 31st of August 2022. I resumed to office immediately.
I have my office in the Supreme Court. I work with 20 other Judges at the federal level. I have been a judge for the last 17 years, I want to make an impact in my countries federal system. Good luck to me and God bless Nigeria 🇳🇬.
