This is my post for #freewriters Friday prompt describe your street hosted by @mariannewest
If you were told to describe your street what would you say? I can tell you about mine. I live at the end of a very long dirt road, there used to be a tunnel when you got to my driveway but my evil neighbor did not do her research when she bought next to me and thought she could do whatever she wanted and had it all leveled.
We came home from fishing to this
Anyway, she can rot in hell.
All of the other people on my street are nice. I call my street the street of self-sufficiency because of a lot of the people on it. We have the Mexican couple who have a food forest for a yard, every plant is something you can eat with the exception of one little corner that his wife claims as hers, she has it fenced and grows the most beautiful flowers. Another neighbor has a zoo, yes I said zoo with a zebra, monkeys, a pair of big tortoise, a llama, horses, ponies, black swans, many exotic birds, a butterfly house, and many more animals. She has 10 acres and lets people come in for free. One neighbor owns several of the houses on my street, she rents them out.
There is the man who makes crab trap buoys and lead weights. The man who will spray your home for bugs. Not to forget Butch the old hippy, has a sweat hut that he lets people use to sweat out all the bad energy. Then there is us, we grow areca palms and fish for a living. This is my street all but one are good people.
When I went to the dock one day this week to feed my bait, this guy was swimming around. It is a 5-foot shark, it is about 2 feet deep where it is at. It is the dark spot in this picture. The one by the pole on the left.
This is a video of the shark that one of my friends took, we think it is a nurse shark.
