Happy 2026, dear #Needleworkmonday. Happy Monday, after a short vacation in the countryside in Falcón State, Venezuela. It was a forced break because I wanted to post, but the Wi-Fi connection was slow and unreliable. I gave up. Anyway, I kept knitting and managed to finish several pieces so that I could post them little by little after arriving in the city. Today I'm sharing a Spider-Man hat, which I had been meaning to make for months until I finally got around to it. Here are the details of how I made it.

Claudiqué. De todas maneras seguí tejiendo logrando terminar varias piezas para despues de llegar a la ciudad publicar poco a poco. Hoy les comparto un gorro hombre araña, el cual lo tenia pendiente hace meses hasta que por fin lo realicé. Paso a dar detalles de su elaboración.
Materials//Materiales:
- Black, blue, red, and white embroidery thread.
- Size 5 needle.
- Hilo estambre negro, azul, rojo y blanco.
- Aguja Nº 5.
Process//Proceso:
Crown.
Black.
- v1: Magic ring, 3 ch, 11 dc, sl st. Close.
Red.
- v2: 1 inc in each space, sl st.
Black.
- v3: 1 sc, 1 inc, repeat, sl st.
Blue.
- v4: 3 chs, 1 dc, 1 inc, repeat sequence, sl st.
Height.
Red.
- v5: 3 chs, 1 dc, 1 dc, 1 inc, repeat sequence, sl st.
Black.
- v6: 2 chs, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 1 inc, repeat sequence, sl st.
Blue.
- v7: 3 chs, 1 dc in each space, repeat, sl st.
Red.
- R8 and R9: repeat R7
- R10: 3 ch, 23 dc, insert white 6 dc, red 5 dc, white 6 dc, 24 dc, sl st.
- R11: 3 ch, 22 dc, insert white 6 dc, red 7 dc, white 6 dc, 23 dc, sl st.
- v12: 3 chs, 23 dc, insert white 4 dc, red 9 dc, white 4 dc, 24 dc, sl st.
Red.
- v13 - v15: 3 chs, 1 dc in each space, repeat, sl st.
Black.
- v16: 2 chs, 1 sc in each space, repeat, sl st.
Blue.
- v17: 3 chs, 1 dc in each space, repeat, sl st.
- Fasten off, cut and hide thread.
Coronilla.
Negro.
- v1: Anillo mágico, 3 chs, 11 pa, pr. Cerrar.
Rojo.

Azul.

I made this hat in the countryside, not so much because of the cold but to protect my ears from the whitefly pest that attacked at certain times of day. It's very unpleasant to suffer these bites in that area.
I liked the color combination related to Spider-Man's costume. This yarn is ideal for this type of hat, due to its texture and gauge. It is an easy knit for beginners.

Este gorro lo hice en el campo, no tanto por el frío, sino para proteger las orejas de la plaga llamada alita blanca que atacaba en algunas horas. Es muy desagradable sufrir estas picaduras en esa área.
Me gusto la combinación de colores relacionada alos colores emblematicos en el traje del honbre araña. Este hilo es ideal para este tipo de gorro, por la textura y calibre. Es un tejido fácil dirigido a principiante.
