Hello #Needleworkmonday. I’m sharing a new project I worked on today—I’d been meaning to do it for several days. It’s a mushroom-shaped coin purse—a simple and practical design. Here are the details on how I made it.

Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- Red, light brown, and white cotton yarn.
- Size 2 crochet hook
- Hilo de algodón rojo, marrón claro y blanco.
- Aguja crochet Nº 2
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
pad: double treble crochet.
pat: triple treble crochet.
aum: increases.
dism: decrease.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
dism: disminución.
pa: punto alto.
pad: punto alto doble.
pat: punto alto triple.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
Light brown.
Base.
- R1: Chain 14; in the second chain, work 3 double crochets together, 1 double crochet in each space = 12, 3 single crochets together, continue and work 12 single crochets, slip stitch.
- R2: 1 increase in each stitch, repeat, slip stitch.
Body.
- Row 3: Using the inner strand, work 1 double crochet in each space, slip stitch.
- Rows 4–10: 3 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in each space, repeat, slip stitch.
Handle.
- Chain 60, slip stitch to the other end of the coin purse.
Red.
Hat.
- R1: Magic ring, 3 ch, 11 dc, sl st.
- R2: 1 inc in each space, sl st.
- R3: 1 dc, 1 inc, sl st.
- R4: 2 dc, 1 inc, slip stitch
- R5: 3 dc, 1 inc, slip stitch.
- R6: 4 dc, 1 inc, slip stitch.
- R7: 1 sc in each space, repeat, slip stitch.
White. (05)
Spots.
- Magic ring, 6 sc, sl st.
The hat: This piece is folded in half. The back part is sewn to the brown piece, like a brim.
Thread the handle through the center of the hat and tie a knot.
Then glue the spots onto the hat.
Marrón claro.
Base.
- v1: Hacer 14 chs, en la segunda ch 3 pa juntos, 1 pa en cada espacio =12, 3 mp juntos, seguir y hacer 12 mp, pr.
- v2: 1 aum en cada punto, repetir, pr.
Cuerpo.
- v3: En la hebra interna se teje 1 pa en cada espacio, pr.
- v4-v10: 3 chs, 1pa en cada espacio, repetir, pr.
Asa.
- Realizar 60 chs, pr en el otro extremo del monedero.
Rojo.
Sombrero.
- v1: Anillo mágico, 3 chs, 11 pa, pr.
- v2: 1 aum en cada espacio, pr.
- v3: 1 pa, 1 aum, pr.
- v4: 2 pa, 1 aum, pr
- v5: 3 pa, 1 aum, pr.
- v6: 4 pa, 1 aum, pr.
- v7: 1 mp en cada espacio, repetir, pr.
Blanco.(05)
Manchas.
- Anillo mágico, 6 mp, pr.
El sombrero: Esta pieza se dobla a la mitad. la parte de atras se cose a la pieza marrón, como solapa.
En el centro del sombrero se pasa el asa y se anuda.
Luego se pegan al sombrero las manchas.

I’m so happy because I finally finished this cute crochet project. This design is perfect for school-age girls and teenage girls alike. It measures 09 x 09 cm—enough space to hold an ID card, a debit card, and a few bills.

Estoy muy contenta porque por fin realicé este lindo tejido. Este diseño es ideal para niñas en edad escolar, y tambien para chicas adolescentes. Mide 09 x 09 cm, espacio suficiente para guardar el dni, la tarjeta electronica y algunos billetes.
Esta semana estuve muy activa tejiendo hice 04 manualidades y logré publicarlas 😀.
