Hello #NeedleworkMonday. In my eagerness to knit, I’d like to share this very useful project for women: a cotton-yarn medallion. I saw it and really liked it, even though it’s not my style, but I’ve noticed that many people wear it and it looks great on them. Here are the details on how to make it.

Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- Pink, lilac, white, brown, and orange cotton yarn.
- Size 2 crochet hook.
- 1 tassel.
- 1 pendant.
- 4 beads.
- Hilo de algodón rosado, blanco, lila, marrón, naranja.
- Aguja crochet Nº 2.
- 01 borla.
- 01 colgante.
- 04 cuentas.
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
pad: double treble crochet.
pat: triple treble crochet.
aum: increases.
dism: decrease.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
dism: disminución.
pa: punto alto.
pad: punto alto doble.
pat: punto alto triple.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
Here, use whichever yarn color you like best.
- R1: Magic ring, 3 ch, 23 dc, sl st.
- R2: 1 inc in each space, sl st. 48
Make two pieces and join them, then crochet around both with sc, 2 ch, sc, 2 ch, repeat all the way around, sl st.
Then crochet a 150-ch chain, add a bead. And at the bottom, add a few more beads and a tassel.
Aqui usamos el color de hilo que mas nos guste.
- v1: Anillo mágico, 3 chs, 11 pa, pr.
- v2: 1 aum en cada espacio, pr.
Hacer dos piezas y pegar, luego tejer ambas con mp, 2 chs, mp, 2 chs, repetir todo alrededor, pr.
Luego se teje un colgante de 150 chs, una cuenta. Y en la parte inferior unas cuentas mas una borla.

In this case, I made a multicolored medallion to use up leftover yarn scraps, and another orange one which I did first. Combined with some beads and a tassel, the medallion takes on an interesting look. It’s perfect for stylish women who want to look elegant, and since it’s handmade, it enhances their beauty even more.
It’s a simple project, perfect for beginners, and it can even be sold. One of these will be for my daughter—the one with lilac, her favorite color.

En este caso hice un medallón multicolor para usar retazos de hilados para reciclar y otro naranja, el cual hice primero, en conjunto a algunas cuentas y la borla el medallón toma un aspecto interesante. Ideal para damas atractivas que deseen verse elegantes y si es artesanal realza mas la belleza.
Es un proyecto sencillo, dirigido a principiantes y puede hasta venderse. Uno de estos será el de mi hija, el que tiene lila, su color favorito.
