Hello #Needleworkmonday. This Thursday, I’m sharing a beautiful macramé project with you—perfect for showing off during the World Cup ⚽—some cute bracelets in the colors of the flags of various teams, such as Portugal, Mexico, and Germany. I’ll walk you through the process.

Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- Green, white, red, black, and yellow nylon thread.
- Matchbox.
- Clipboard.
- Hilo nailon verde, blanco, rojo, negro y amarillo.
- Yesquero.
- Tabla clip.
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
pad: double treble crochet.
pat: triple treble crochet.
aum: increases.
dism: decrease.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
dism: disminución.
pa: punto alto.
pad: punto alto doble.
pat: punto alto triple.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
Germany Bracelet
80 cm of black base cord.
80 cm of black, red, and yellow cord.
Insert the black base cord into the clip board 10 cm from the end.
Tie the black cord to the base cord halfway along.
Then tie the red cord to it.
Next, tie the yellow cord to it.
Take the black thread and tie a full flat knot.
Repeat the same step with the red thread.
Next, take the yellow thread.
Repeat this sequence until the bracelet is 12 cm long.
Secure the knots with the thread sealer.
Tie the ends together.
Fasten the bracelet with a slipknot.
Pulsera Alemania
80 cm de hilo base negro.
80 cm de hilo negro, rojo y amarillo.
A 10 cm el hilo base negro se inserta en la tabla clip.
A la mitad se anuda el hilo negro al hilo base.
Luego se anuda el hilo rojo.
Despues se anuda el hilo amarillo.
Tomamos el hilo negro, hacemos un nudo plano completo.
Despues con el rojo repetimos lo anterior.
Luego tomamos el hilo amarillo.
Repetimos esta secuencia hasta tener 12 cm de largo.
Sellamos los nudos con el yesquero.
Anudamos los extremos.
Unimos la pulsera con el nudo corredizo.

Amid the power outages, crocheting has been a great escape, so I decided to make these bracelets out of Ailon yarn using the macramé technique, with left and right flat knots.
I liked the result—it’s simple and uses very little material.
For me, this is the Germany bracelet; I’ve always been a fan of that team.
The Portugal one is for my daughter. I made the Mexico one because it’s one of the host countries.
I plan to make others, like ones for the U.S., Italy, Colombia, and France, since I have those colors available.

Entre los cortes electricos, tejer ha sido un escape, entonces me animé a tejer estas pulseras de hilo de ailon con la técnica macramé, usando el nudo plano izquierdo y derecho.
Me gustó el resultado es sencillo y se utiliza poco material.
Para mi es la pulsera de alemania, siempre he sido fans de este equipo.
La de Portugal es de mi hija. Hice la de México por ser unos de los paises anfitriones.
Tengo pensado hacer otras como EE UU, Italia, Colombia y Francia por tener esos colores disponibles.
