BEER ROCK´nROLL? 😎🍻

Lieber spät als nie und so trinke ich erst heute mein Bier, welches ich zur 205. Runde von @detlev´s BeerSaturday öffne.
Das reale Leben hat mich gerade voll im Würgegriff und viel Zeit für Online Späßchen bleibt da nicht, da aber auch in härteren Zeiten gerne mal ein Bier getrunken wird, packte ich die Gelegenheit beim Schopfe, machte ein paar Fotos vom Getränk und erzähle Euch nun ob es geschmeckt hat.
Damit wären im Grunde auch schon die Regeln zur Teilnahme am #BeerSaturday erklärt.

Better late than never and so I drink only today my beer, which I open to the 205th round of @detlev's BeerSaturday.
Real-life has me in a stranglehold right now and there's not much time for online fun, but since even in harder times people like to drink a beer, I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the drink and now tell you if it tasted good.
This would be already explained the rules for participation in the #BeerSaturday.

Dies war natürlich das falsche Foto.
Niemals würde ich mich dazu erniedrigen lassen, ein Allerweltsbier wie das portugiesische SAGRES in solch auserwählter Runde zu besprechen, da muss schon etwas interessanteres her.
Fündig wurde ich in einer Pizzeria, in der ich mit meinem Liebchen zu Abend speiste.
Neben den portugiesischen Standard Bieren hatte der fröhliche Italiener das komplette Programm des musikalischen Brauhauses MUSA, aus Lissabon im Angebot.
Für mich, wie auch euch aufmerksamen Leser sind die rockenden Brauer ja keine Unbekannten mehr, hatte ich doch schon so einige Biere aus diesem Hause wohlwollend besprochen, aber das FRANK APA AMERICAN PALE ALE fand bisher noch nicht den Weg in Muelli´s Kühlschrank.

I would never let myself be humiliated to discuss a common beer like the Portuguese SAGRES in such a select group, there must be something more interesting.
I found what I was looking for in a pizzeria where I was having dinner with my sweetheart.
Besides the Portuguese standard beers, the cheerful Italian had the complete program of the musical brewery MUSA, from Lisbon on offer.
For me, as well as for you attentive readers, the rocking brewers are no longer unknown, as I had already favorably reviewed several beers from this house, but the FRANK APA AMERICAN PALE ALE had not yet found its way into Muelli's fridge.

Alles wie gehabt, war mein erster Eindruck.
Bei der Namensgebung orientiert man sich wie immer an Größen der Musik und das Etikett punktet mit einer liebevollen Gestaltung.

Everything as before was my first impression.
As always, the naming is based on greats of music and the label scores with a loving design.

Ich konnte es kaum erwarten die Flasche zu öffnen und deren Inhalt ins Glas zu kippen, nicht nur weil ich wirklich durstig war, sondern auch weil ich von dieser Brauerei noch nie enttäuscht wurde, egal ob mir deren musikalischen Vorbilder im Klang gefallen.

I could hardly wait to open the bottle and tip its contents into the glass, not only because I was thirsty, but also because I have never been disappointed by this brewery, regardless of whether I like their musical idols in sound.

YEEESSS, ein Hammer!
Keine Ahnung woher der auffällige, aber nicht aufdringliche Grapefruit Geschmack herkommt, der ganz wunderbar mit dem kräftigen Hopfen Aroma harmonisiert. Nichts in der Zutatenliste ließ auf fruchtige Aromen schließen.
Vielmehr wunderte ich mich das beim Brauen Haferflocken beigemischt wurden, was ich bisher noch nie gesehen hatte.

YESSS, a doozy!
No idea where the noticeable but not overbearing grapefruit flavor came from, which harmonized quite wonderfully with the strong hop aroma. Nothing in the ingredient list suggested fruity flavors.
Rather, I was surprised that oatmeal was added during brewing, which I had never seen before.

Keine Frage, die MUSA BRAUEREI hat den Dreh raus und egal was sie ihren Bieren beimischen, heraus kommt stet´s etwas ganz Besonderes.
Da macht auch FRANK APA keine Ausnahme und einmal mehr bewiesen die kreativen Braumeister, das ihre Biere zur Elite der portugiesischen Braukunst gehören.
Der günstige Preis von 2,50 Euro im Restaurant, rundet das Trinkvergnügen noch ab und mir bleibt nichts weiter übrig als eine absolute Empfehlung auszusprechen.
Solltet Ihr einmal die Möglichkeit haben, dann greift unbedingt zu!
Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen.

There's no question that MUSA BRAUEREI has the knack and no matter what they add to their beers, they always come out with something very special.
FRANK APA is no exception and once again the creative brewmasters proved that their beers belong to the elite of Portuguese brewing.
The reasonable price of 2.50 euros in the restaurant, rounds off the drinking pleasure and I have nothing left but to give an absolute recommendation.
Should you ever have the opportunity, then definitely grab it!
You will not regret it.
