One afternoon lost in the ship repair area

Hello everyone, how are you today?
As for me, unfortunately, the company's equipment broke a few screws during transportation, so I had to find a place to fix them. I set out to search for shops in the city to fix them but couldn't find it, someone pointed me to a shipbuilding area 10 km from the city that specializes in fixing these things, so I started setting out to find that place.

On the road

I had to cross many suspension bridges to get to my destination. Especially these bridges only appear in the West of Vietnam. These bridges are often used to cross the two banks of a river to help people easily move from one end of the river to the other. There are many materials that can be used to make bridges depending on the place. There are places, the bridge is made of wood, and another place, the bridge is made of concrete, reinforcement, ... Usually, the structure is only for one person to go for a small bridge, and a large bridge can bear the weight of a truck.

I drove along the river in search of a place to repair my equipment. This place is also home to many places to repair and build ships. I am also very curious to get here, I want to find out how people will repair or build a ship. A ship will include what accessories to be able to fully assemble a ship. Is it different between the ship we build and the ship we buy? And how long will it take to complete or repair a ship. I really wanted to know those things and fortunately, I found the ship repair area.

Ship repair area

I finally got to my screw repair place, it's near the end of the ship repair area, I had to cross a lot of suspension bridges to get to this place. The first thing you can see is that the repair shop looks messy, the furniture is scattered, iron, steel, plastic, wood,... What do you think, you see the shop is not clean. Personally, I think it's okay because ships are often repaired here, so the repairman will not put things in a bag or room, so they leave it outside for easy repair.

You can see ship repairmen busy doing their work in a damp room, filled with ship accessories. This is the place to build complete ships to go out to sea to catch seafood.
You look at the symbol of each ship, each ship will have its own code, the alphanumeric code is taken from the first letter of each Vietnamese province and city and the number behind is the unique code of each ship. Because I live in Kien Giang province, the ship will be named KG-code.

Beautiful moments that I caught.

You can watch the fishermen preparing their nets on the ship so that they can drop the nets into the river to catch fish and shrimp. If the weather conditions are favorable and the nets are placed in the right places where the fish are concentrated, the fishermen will have a lot of money and earn quite a bit of income. Usually, for small boats fishing in the river, they just need to find a place to drop their nets and tomorrow to that place to pull the nets. As for large ships, they will go out to sea to catch big seafood, fishermen have to stay on the ship for a few days, even a month to load up the fish and shrimp on the ship. Every year, just a few trips out to sea are enough money for fishermen to spend the whole year.

Today's trip is very fun for me, I got lost in the ship repair area. So it helps me to have many new experiences. I finally fixed my screws. Especially, I learned many things, admired the beauty of the West, the bridges over the river, where the ships moored before going out to sea to fish. I get to know more about where ships are repaired, the tools they use, and how they repair ships. I'm happy to learn more new things.
