What is Christmas to me?
Indeed, I'm growing old experiencing many Christmases as the years go by. There were sad times but they can be ignored since happy times are all in my mind. Of course, how could I forget that incident 2 years ago, when Odette tormented us; Keep in mind it was the beginning of the "Misa de Gallo" at that time. Together with the shower of the rain, I bathed my soul with my tears as I got inside the church. It was an unforgettable Christmas to me but still, I did not force myself to smile or to be happy. Just Christmas itself drew a smile to my face.
Yes, I'm not a child anymore who is always astonished by the Christmas fantasy stories. Like those flying deers, a wish came true for sure and that Santa Claus. I remember myself when I was a child how I followed Santa believing he was a real Santa Claus. I was a child, maybe naive is too rude to call for a young man who just loved Christmas very much. But nothing could make me happier when Christmas is near.
The beautiful and colorful lights. The caroling of the children and the Christmas songs. The chilly breeze every evening that blows. The happy faces of the people or maybe it's just me who is imagining it. Most of all, the feeling of everything when it's Christmas. Everything of it, I don't need a reason for me to feel amazing during Christmas time. As long as it's Christmas, I'm overflowing with joy.
So what is Christmas to me, then? Actually, like a man who is truly in love with a woman; countless words nor countless reasons could ever define the feeling behind it. All I know is that when it's Christmas I hope everyone can take a pause from everyone that can hurt them or can wrong them. I mean, I want everyone to be happy and share love. When we all have those feelings it will be beneficial for sure. No one wants to have a bad feeling after all, just like we dislike feeling anxious.
Christmas is very special to me. I'll do anything to inspire the people that surround me to be happy. That's why I'm raising funds to earn money so that I can collect money as I can. On Christmas day, I'm planning to distribute food to those households or families who need food badly. Also, I will hold an entertainment like basketball or whatever depending on the money I could have before Christmas.
