No one will be hungry if no one is lazy. I do believe that some people get hungry because it's part of their choice. I wonder why some people forced themselves to stay in the city when there is food and money in the province. Though it's not a big amount, but come on, the expenses in the province are a couple of times less. Well, it's different for those people who earn regular salaries.

Why I'm confident to say so, why wouldn't I when even I can tell? In this article, I'll be telling you and showing the resources we can get in the sea. We are not just gaining food from there but also earning money. There are those fish that are free to catch even though there's no assurance to catch in everyday fishing. Even so, there are still a lot of alternatives where you can have food and money. It's not just fish that you can only find in the sea of course.

SEASHELLS - I'm sure most of you are familiar with this creature in the sea. It has a shell, sometimes it's tiny, and sometimes it's big. It's not easy to find because you'll think it's a stone or seaweed. Well, you need to be fully aware of its form or shape so next time it will be easier. Of course, it will take time because it's hard to differentiate which is it. Anyhow, practice will make things easier and you will soon realize how amazing it will be because seashells will be in a group most of the time.

Maybe some of you recognize this one? It's a rare type of seashell that can only be found once in a while. We called it in the Visayan dialect "Budjong." It can only be found in the deeper part of the sea. This one is hard to find no matter how good you are at searching seashells. It has a delicious taste compared to other seashells. That's why according to the people in our place it's endangered nowadays. Maybe because a long time ago, people kept searching for this type of seashell.

TRIVIA: You can find its shell at the fish vendors who roam around in every place. They bored a hole in the center of it and blew it. It will make a sound like a megaphone but of course, you can only hear a blowing sound like a ship's horn but not that loud. That's why when they're eating the flesh they let it go out. You can not take it out easily, so the people place a hook or any sharp material in its flesh where it can be found inside the shell. Then they'll hang it and that hook will add more weight to make it possible the flesh will come out. That's how they eat the flesh of this shell to make sure the shell will be useful.

Oh, before I forgot, don't think of getting or finding this one, it is strictly prohibited by the law.

Of course, most of you recognize sea urchins. That flower-like creature in the sea but has stingy thorns. Every sea urchin has a different taste and different sting of its thorns but all of them can be eaten. Their flesh is located inside and by cutting it into half you can eat one. Though those longer thorns should be removed first if you want to eat it. Unlike this sea urchin above in the image. It has only short thorns but its defense mechanism is the flowers. Don't think of eating it along the shore like you will let the sea urchin's shell touch your lips. That will not be good because it's so itchy like a jellyfish.

However, of all the sea urchins this one is the best. This one is popular with the people and of course, it has a bigger price if you want to buy one. If you don't want to buy it because it's expensive. You can find this sea urchin under the yellow seaweed. You can find it in the green seaweed but for most people, they will not prefer to get a sea urchin like this in the seaweed. They say it has a small flesh that can be eaten compared to sea urchins that can be found in the yellow seaweed. Well, there are things you need to understand and learn first if you want to quit your job and start earning income at sea. It's not easy but it's fun because you know the sea, it offers a lot of beautiful things and views under the sea. The choice is yours but make sure not to regret it.
