Things that are not helping us to reduce stress.

Dealing with stress is a continuous fight. You will look after one thing and another thing will arise to make you more stressed. This is a never-ending lope because as long as we live there will be stress.

So when we try to manage stress, we should keep in mind some of the 'don't'. If we fail to do that, no matter how much we try, what method we follow we will still feel stressed. I guess we all have a sort of idea of what we should not do to release stress. But let's have a look for better understanding and make it easy to avoid them.

  • Avoid fighting with your stress.

Unrealistic thoughts, the continuous 'what if' thinking process sneaks away our peace of mind. You can't fight with you to stop stressing on the other hand having those toxic thinking. What we need to do is to go slow, move away from all the negative thought processes and release stress gradually. Otherwise, that fight will take down our inner peace.

  • An unhealthy life.

If you have any bad habits like smoking or drinking, sleeping late at night; you need to take care of them. Because there are thousands of researches showing how all these increase our stress and takes away the peace.

  • Avoid thinking 'you alone can deal with it'.

This is what we do mostly wrong. I'm not saying dealing with stress needs someone's help. But when you decide to keep everything inside you, you make the situation hard to manage. Because you never know, you need to see a therapist or need medication. You can keep it in yourself but know when to reach out to professionals and other people like your family.

I believe if we keep these in mind, it will be better for us to manage our stress more successfully!
