Behaviours That Keep You Going In Summer

Good morning dear Hivers. It feels good to be back here again. Today, I would be sharing with you all the best ways possible to live during the summer season. First, let's get to know what summer is all about.

Summer is the hottest season of the year. In India, the season occurs between March and June. The sun appears with higher intensity during this period, causing a lot of heat. In Nigeria where I live and writing from currently, we are in our rainy season, when it rains cats and dogs almost every day. For this contest, I will be writing about how most people in the Western part of Africa live during the summer season which occurs from April to October.

Liquid Therapy

There is going to be a high level of dehydration during this period because of the higher intensity of the sun which makes individuals sweat, losing a lot of water from their body system. So, taking a lot of water can help hydration in humans and perhaps animals for those of us who are involved in the farming of livestock.

Eating a lot of fruits can be very helpful during this period too. Cucumbers, watermelons, mango, and fruits can be very useful to the human body during summer. These fruits are filled with nutrients that replace or replenish the broken-down body tissues that may arise from prolonged heat or dehydration.

Digestion is usually very difficult during the summer season. This accounts for the number of people who suffer constipation. This is why individuals should engage in eating seasonal fruits and veggies to help them digest their food intake.

I think someone needs to take care of his or her health because that is the basis for which other life expectations can be pursued.

I Used To Hate Sunglasses

Not anymore. When I realized that my sight get blurrier after each summer, which was a result of the harsh rays of the sun, I decided to wear sunshades to avoid further depletion of my eye lenses.

Wearing unrecommended dark sunshades could be helpful. I have tried it and found that it is of immense benefit.

I Don't Suit Up

My office space does not have air conditioners. Once, during the summer season, I just appear as simple as possible in the office. Wearing a suit and a tie which usually cause some sort of suffocation during the summer is one thing I steer clear from.

Staying Indoors During Afternoons

Having heard a medical report in some areas of sub-Saharan Africa where people have developed skin cancer through the exposure of their skin to the radiation of the sun, I consider staying indoors in the afternoon a venture to treasure.

Having said all this, it is good to say that we have other seasons that come with special features that should be adhered to for a generally good life.
