Hola amigos de hive y comunidad @familly-friends, espero que estén disfrutando en familia de este lindo fin de semana.

Hace unos días atrás un grupo de amigas, amigos, niños, jóvenes y adultos planificamos ir a misa de 5pm y luego realizar un pequeño compartir para darle gracias a Dios por el don de la vida de una muy querida y apreciada por todos los integrantes de los grupos parroquiales, a quien le tenemos un apodo, le decimos la viejita amargada cabeza blanca, ya que posee un carácter bastante fuerte, pero en el fondo es una excelente persona, compañera, amiga y muy caritativa con todo aquel que la necesita y es mi apreciada y querida amiga Onelia, es una hermanita más que el Señor me ha regalado.

Este compartir fue planificado de un día para otro, ya que una de nosotras nos recordamos que Onelia estaba próxima a cumplir años y decidimos que cada quien trajera lo que pudiera, algo para compartir en familia y así no pasar por alto su onomástico.

Mi amiga no sabía nada de esto y quedó tan sorprendida lo cual lo pueden observar en las fotografías.

Cuando terminó la misa, la llamamos para la sala de la casa parroquial y se dió cuenta que en la mesa había dos tortas, unos pasa palos, refrescos, quesillo, cremas, empanaditas, catalinas y tequeños, pues se sintió muy alegre y agradecida con todos; algunas veces cuando no planificamos mucho las cosas salen mejor. Ella pensó que al salir de misa se iría a su casa.

Onelia es una chica con un poquito de edad avanzada, que no se casó, ni se buscó pareja, a lo mejor por ser tan acidita, me imagino que ningún chico se la aguantó y eso mismo lo dice ella cuando entablamos tertulia, que aparte de ser tan estricta con sus novios, pues siempre estaba pendiente del cuidado de su mama porque solo eran dos hijos un varón que ya falleció y ella.

Cuenta Onelia que su novio había decidido casarse con ella y luego irse a Irlanda, le dijo que se llevara a su mamá, pero su mami no aceptó irse, por lo que ella decidió no casarse para quedarse y velar por todo lo que su madre necesitara. Así fue, por lo que mi amiguita Onelia vive en una casa bastante grande sola porque no tuvo hijos, pero ella es feliz así. Cuando no la vemos en la parroquia, desde los más chicos hasta los más viejos nos preocupamos por esta hermanita y de una vez buscamos la manera de saber de ella, llamándola o yendo a su residencia, la cual queda a escasas cuadras de la parroquia.

This sharing was planned from one day to the next, since one of us remembered that Onelia was about to have her birthday and we decided that everyone should bring what they could, something to share as a family so as not to overlook her birthday.

My friend didn't know anything about this and was so surprised, which you can see in the pictures.

When the mass was over, we called her to the parish hall and she realized that on the table there were two cakes, some raisin sticks, soft drinks, quesillo, creams, empanaditas, catalinas and tequeños, she felt very happy and grateful to everyone; sometimes when we do not plan much things turn out better. She thought that after mass she would go home.

Onelia is a girl with a little bit of advanced age, who did not get married, nor did she look for a partner, maybe because she was so acidic, I imagine that no boy could stand her and that is what she says when we started chatting, that besides being so strict with her boyfriends, she was always taking care of her mother because there were only two children, a boy who has passed away and her.

Onelia tells us that her boyfriend had decided to marry her and then go to Ireland, he told her to take her mother with him, but her mother did not accept to leave, so she decided not to get married to stay and take care of everything her mother needed. That's how it was, so my friend Onelia lives in a big house alone because she didn't have any children, but she is happy that way. When we don't see her in the parish, from the youngest to the oldest, we worry about this little sister and at once we try to find out about her, calling her or going to her residence, which is only a few blocks from the parish.
