Pilgrimage walk from Santa Rosa to Macario Yépez Square
Hello dear friends of the @Wednesdaywalk community, I hope you are all having a wonderful Wednesday stroll with your loved ones. Welcome to my blog.

Today, once again, I visited this community, thanks to the Wednesday walks and hikes initiative created by my friend @tattoodjay, which allows us to show and learn about different cities and countries with different cultures and traditions through photographs. Right now, I'm going to tell you about the walk I took today from the town of Santa Rosa, where the Divina Pastora remains until January 14, the day she is taken on a pilgrimage to tour the entire city. It's approximately a 7.5-kilometer walk.

Today, all together as a family, we accompanied the Divine Pastoral in a procession through the streets of the city, which began very early in the morning. A crowd of about 3,500 parishioners attended the long procession. Each family and individual walks as far as they can because it is a very long journey, but we are all very happy and joyful. Every January 14, we perform this exercise of Marian faith.

We left the car at a friend's apartment very early in the morning, and I walked with my family along shortcuts to get to the city of Santa Rosa faster, attend Mass, and then leave with her, where I made different friends along the long road. We talked, laughed, and had a great time in an atmosphere of faith, peace, and joy. Every few blocks there were different musical groups representing different companies in the city, who were hired to pay tribute and give thanks to God for all the gifts that the Virgin has given us in 2026 and to pray for the good of our country, Venezuela.

Today was quite cool because it rained a little in the morning, which cooled things down, then it turned into a very clear day with beautiful clouds. The sky cleared quickly, and it wasn't very sunny, but rather overcast, which allowed the parishioners to endure a long walk. In my case, I only made it to Macario Yépez Square, walking about 1.5 kilometers. The goal is to reach the cathedral, but I didn't accompany her there because of my health and because I was tired.

That's all for my post. I hope you enjoyed it. Best wishes to everyone, and see you next time.
